We had a small viewing and cremation at this Pet Meadow location. The viewing room isn't big but good enough for a few people. We interacted with only two staff members, the receptionist and the person who performed the cremation. Both were very professional, informative, and empathetic. We spent about 45 minutes to an hour with our pet before the cremation, and then we had to wait about 1.5 hours for the remains. Luckily, a few restaurants were nearby where we could have lunch and wait. The remains were neatly wrapped and placed inside the box our daughters chose, and they were given to us in a bag with a card from the veterinarian and PM. Thank you, Pet Meadow, for being gentle in caring for our baby Honey and for making sure everything was as perfect as it could be.

Came here to say goodbye to my beloved cat Malice whom I've had half my life. I was really impressed with the facility and staff. Everyone I met was so kind and empathetic. They were there for me every step of the process. I know watching your loved one be put into a crematory is not the easiest thing to watch but for me it was closure I needed. I wanted to be sure that the remains I received were hers. I'm so thankful for their services and the fact they do this for their clients. It was so important to me. When you first walk in to the private room you see the viewing table. You can lay your pet out with their favorite blanket and toys and then sit there and pay your respects. Once you're ready to move forward the staff will come in and pick up your pet, bring them into the crematory room. There is a window with a curtain so you can safely watch your pet being put into the crematory, and then when it's over you can watch them come out. I was also able to get a clay paw print before she was taken away, and what made it extra nice was they put it in a nice leather binding case with a poem of the rainbow bridge. Thank you for making this painful loss easier on my soul and granting me the right to witness it all.

Upon shipping the remains of my beloved pet, Pet Meadow provided me with the incorrect tracking number. This led to a heartbreaking 24 hours from shipment to delivery during which time I thought the remains were lost in the mail. I realized something was wrong when Pet Meadow provided me with a window the courier was picking up the remains, and hours later the tracking was still showing the courier did not know the package's whereabouts. Immediately upon recognizing something was wrong, I left a message on Pet Meadow's after-hour urgent line. Knowing they had printed a new label, I suspected they gave me the incorrect tracking number, which they assured me was not changing when I specifically asked this question. The urgent phone line was pointless, as no one returned my call. Desperate to know the package was safe, I continued to call them the next day during their normal operating hours; none of the phone calls were answered. I also sent several emails (screenshot in photos), all of which were ignored. Almost 24 hours went by before I finally received a call and email back stating it would still be another hour before they could check on what happened. They stated they would have an update at 3pm, but they still waited until 4:55pm to call me; five minutes before they were set to close. Screenshot in photos. The package luckily ended up being delivered about an hour prior to their phone call under a completely different tracking number, as I suggested they check in one of my emails. It became apparent at the start of the phone call that they had no idea where the package was. When I interjected and said it was delivered an hour prior and they would have saved me immense stress simply by responding to my attempts to contact them and asking they check the tracking number, she rudely, defensively and unapologetically said that the emailed number was the only tracking number Pet Meadow had. This is alarming, as Pet Meadow specifically said they printed and fixed the new label to the package, which clearly listed the correct tracking number. This means that no one at Pet Meadow thought to cross check the email they sent to the label they printed. There was no genuine apology, and certainly no accountability or ownership for their extreme oversight. This was a package of cremated remains and memorials of our beloved animal we NEVER would have been able to replace. The carelessness, especially given their industry, is alarming. I sent a follow up email expressing my outrage, concern, and overall sadness by how this was handled, which was also ignored. *reposting since my review was deleted*

Shame on Pet Meadow and Country Animal Clinic for exploiting a family's grief. Twice during our beloved dog's euthanasia process, we declined cremation yet were still charged $186.03. We were offered a snout print, which we were charged $49 for a partial snout on a piece of paper. Home Vet provided free paw prints when our beloved cat had to be euthanized in August so we assumed snout print was free as well. Then there was the disgusting $51.94 charge for a piece of clay that was allegedly Roxy's paw. I am so disgusted by this shake down.

    Baby Daisy

Thank you for helping us to honor our sweet baby Daisy. We appreciate the thoughtfulness and services that were available. We also appreciate the communication about what to expect, timelines, and shipping information for her ashes. You helped ease one of the toughest things we ever had to do.

They deserve 10 stars for how wonderfully they handled the cremation of our beloved kitty Annabelle. They sent our little girl's remains in the most beautiful wooden box with a brass plate with her name on it. In addition, they sent a lovely card expressing their condolences and a note saying that Annabelle had been cremated with dignity and respect. Their kindness and sensitivity meant the world to us. They get our highest recommendation.

We have used the cremation services of Pet Meadow twice in the last year. They are very responsive to phone calls, and very compassionate. I honestly feel that they really care about your pet. They have a beautiful selection of urns. It was a pleasant surprise when we also received our Scheldon's paw print in clay when the urn arrived.

From the very beginning, it was clear this is a family-owned place run with compassion and integrity. They treated my cat with the utmost dignity and care, and they treated us, the grieving family, with patience and respect. Not once did we feel rushed or disregarded. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, and they did it in the most humble and comforting way possible. In moments like these, emotions run high, and it is rare to find people who truly understand how to handle them. The team here made sure our grief was honored, our feelings were acknowledged, and that our cat's final journey was handled with gentleness. If you are ever in the painful position of needing these services, I cannot recommend them enough. They go far beyond just providing a service. They provide care, respect, and compassion when you need it most.

We knew that we wanted to have her cremated as we had done we other pets that had passed through the years. We had dealt with another crematory in the past through our vet(s) and were nt happy with the recent reviews that they'd been getting. After some research we came upon your crematory and were happy with what we were reading about other people's experiences. We called that morning and spoke to Marisol who was very sympathetic, informative, and respectful. She gave us an appointment right away. We drove to them in Secaucus from Brooklyn and when we arrived Marisol met us at the door. She and Mariah were very polite, understanding, and accommodating. They took our Oreo and placed her on a bed surrounded by flowers and gave us some time alone to say our goodbyes. Marisol then waked us through the cremation process and showed us where it would be done and guaranteed us that it would only be Oreo's ashes that we would be receiving. We were given the opportunity to be present for Oreo's cremation. Ultimately Oreo's ashes were returned to us in less than 2 hours and were were able to bring her back home with us same day. They made this sad morning easier to get through. Along with Oreo's ashes we received a beautiful wooden box to keep her in with an engraved brass pate attached, a certificate allowing us to travel with her ashes, a wooden beaded bracelet, her paw print in clay with 2 gems attached, a stand for her paw print, a rose that lights up, and a notebook with the Rainbow Bridge poem on the cover. We were overwhelmed by all that we were given and the wonderful service that we were provided by Marisol and Mariah. We highly recommend Pet Rest in Peace to any loving pet owner.

I had her euthanasia scheduled for Saturday morning at 11. She chose to go on her own, she had no fight left in her. She was 19 years old (Oct 2). She had advanced heart disease and was in kidney failure due to the medication she was prescribed for her heart. She was on the medication for over 3 years, we monitored her at her primary vet as well as her cardiologist. She fought hard. Such a tough little girl. But Friday, she was done. I have thought and feared this day since the moment I got her. I wish I had gotten that one last night or taken the day off but there was no way I could of predicted what I came home to. As I sat there with her, watching her last breaths and having my hand on her last heartbeats, I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I was sobbing and saying the words that she had died were impossible . I called the vet back to cancel my Saturday appt assuming they would have a plan for her body. There is not a plan for this circumstance. The call taker just said to call around and find a place that does pet cremations. I had to google places . Only 3 places came up. 2 being closed til 9am on Saturday and the 3rd, Dear Pet Memorial Park, OPEN 24 hrs! I thought this can't be right but I called and Keith answered immediately. I don't even think it rang twice before he answered. Through my tears, I briefly explained what had just happened. No hesitation, he said, I can be there within the hour. Sure enough, he was here in 45 mins. His presence brought some kind of peace to the situation. He gave me the choice to hold her for a little while later or take her out when he arrived. I did have him take her right away. I kissed her little cold nose and handed her to him. After she was settled, ready to be transported in his car, he came back in to discuss the process. I was going with a private cremation instead of communal. He went over the timeline and said he would have her back on Tuesday. He wasn't pushy with the add ons ( paw print, jewlery, urns) he just gave me the options he had to offer. I chose a clay paw print in a shadow box , with the rainbow bridge poem on the other side. I also got the basic wooden box with her name on a gold plate. The box is not sealed which is what I would of requested anyway because I'm going to have a piece of jewelry made from her ashes. Sure enough, Tuesday is here and she is back home. The paw print is amazing, I was never able to push her paw into clay or ink and get an impression. I'm so thankful Keith was able to get it just as imagined it would be. I would recommend this business and Keith to anyone in the area. He is compassionate, and caring. The exact person/personality you would want helping you at the worst moment of your life. I can't say enough good things about him and his business. Telling him "Thank You" is not enough. To have someone , a complete stranger, come to your house and comfort you so quickly is just amazing. I will remember his kindness forever. Thank You Keith!!! I am posting a few pictures of Cady during better times.
