Cat has walked our Samoyed, Red, several times a week for the past few years. She is extremely attentive, loving and gentle with him and all pets she comes across. Animals are her passion, and she has devoted her life to them. All you need to know about her is that she offers free training because she can't stomach the idea of someone rehoming a pet because of behavioral issues. Red is a pandemic puppy and had separation anxiety and leash aggression. Cat helped Red conquer both and now he is a very well adjusted pup. She is very much a professional, not just your average dog walker. She's responsive, communicative, flexible, keeps great records and is very organized with her invoicing. She only walks one dog at a time and keeps her full attention on them - no earbuds or phone use unlike other walkers. We've even had Cat stay in our home to watch Red while out of town for the holidays. We know he's in the very best care when Cat's around. Catherine has been walking my dog, Betsy, for about 7 months and she's been incredibly kind, attentive, punctual, and responsible -- everything you could want in a dog walker. Catherine's passion for animals is evident and you can tell that she truly loves what she does. From our first call, Catherine offered great suggestions and put together comprehensive emails on training ideas and other recommendations for a happier, healthier, and safer environment for Betsy. Knowing that someone was caring for Betsy as much (and maybe even more) than I do was especially important to me as a first time adopter. Catherine sends videos and pictures of Betsy when I'm not home, and suggested that I get a Ring camera so I could keep an eye on Betsy when I wasn't there. I also love that Catherine doesn't use her phone while walking and is extremely committed to street safety and creating a distraction-free environment for her pups (babies). When Betsy was sick with pancreatitis earlier this year, Catherine called the hospital and advocated on my behalf. She spent hours on the phone trying to get through and pushed for a time when I could visit. I called Cat in a dire situation - my building lost power and I had to travel out of town & I was planning to use the automatic feeder for my cats - whoops! She showed up on very short notice and immediately made my cats and me feel 100 percent comfortable. One of my cats is skittish & usually runs but was friendly with Cat. As new cat owner she also taught me tricks to make my cats happier and help them get along better. I was reluctant to trust my cats to someone I found on Yelp but I had no choice because I was in a jam. Take it from me - you can trust her 100 percent. I am new to NYC and had never left my cat with anyone besides my Mom. I was super nervous about leaving him with anyone but I found Cat online and she is fantastic!!! She came and took care of my little guy twice a day over the Fourth of July for 5 days. After a couple of days she had my "scaredy cat" out playing and demanding his food and treats. I honestly couldn't believe it. She sent me videos and texted me each time she visited because she knew I was scared to leave him and needed to know he was ok. She has taken care of my dog during daily walk and training sessions for the past few months, and is a fantastic trainer and caretaker: reliable, trustworthy, truly professional and great at what she does. My two year old dog pulls on the leash and can be challenging for anyone but me to walk. So when I needed to find a dog walker, I was cautious about trusting just anyone with walking him. It took just a few minutes when I first met Catherine during a consultation that I knew she was absolutely the right person. She had a great connection with Neptune (my dog), and is excellent at focusing in on training and improving dog behavior (like my dog pulling on the leash), while on daily walks. Cat is amazing! She was my pet sitter for 4 years in NYC before I moved to London. I've moved back to NYC and am thrilled she is here to take care of my two cats again. She loves and cares for them like her own. She is incredibly responsible and I trust her completely. She manages her business in a very professional way, but more importantly she does this because of her love of animals. I travel quite a bit and have her booked for three trips already. She came by to see the girls so they could get reacquainted (and she left covered in cat hair!).
