Initially, it was to get her nails trimmed but I then brought up a full groom. She wasn't available until Monday so we reverted back to setting up appt to get her nails trimmed. At that time she told me that she only grooms small dogs which is something that should've been said prior to attempting to set up an appt for Monday. After several texts back and forth, she asked if I could come in the 9 am the following morning for the nail trim. I asked for something a bit later to which she responded, "I'm going to have to pass on the nail trim I'm sorry I just have a bad back and can't do big dogs". Why did she waste my day when I relayed the size of the dog and sent a picture?! It's not a good business practice to keep a customer "on the leash" for close to an entire day and then end it saying they have a bad back. I'm seriously disappointed in how she presented herself and then let me down. I will not be recommending her as there are enough groomers in the area that don't misrepresent their businesses.

The dog was badly in need of grooming....his regular groomer was not available. We were also dealing with my dad's hospitalization. Mary said she could groom the dog on Christmas Eve. During the grooming, Mary discovered a sore on his back side. She let me know that I should take him to get checked out at the vet. Turned out to be somewhat serious and he was put in antibiotics. If not for Mary, he would have suffered in silence. Oh and the grooming job was great too! Thanks to Mary for helping us during a time of stress!

The staff was so kind and supportive and when we put one to sleep they even lit a candle and made the room as cozy as possible and made a paw print for us. I have been avoiding being the person in the room during those moments until then and it was as supportive as any clinic could've been and now I wish I had been brave enough before. Our cat has had surgeries and they've all gone great too. The front desk staff has even helped bring things and pets to and from the car when I had my kids with me and needed an extra hand.

They then put him back under anesthesia and re-did the surgery and I picked him up and the stitches burst open again within 24 hours. I brought him back again for them to re do surgery and when I picked him up they burst again within another 48 hours. I brought him back again and they basically said they can't do it & I have to bring him to an actual surgeon to get it done right. But they charged me every time for their garbage work. I took him to Dr Hansen and he got it done 1st try which is pathetic for Martin downs considering after 3 failed surgeries with all that tearing of the tissue, Dr Hansen got it 1st try. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE FOR SURGERY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT DRAINED AND YOUR ANIMAL KILLED. 100% would never bring another animal here and I hope they get shut down soon. EDIT: To your response: That's false there was no biopsy done or anything to determine that it was a tumor. He went into surgery with us not knowing if it was an infection or a tumor. I understand that the tumor was very large and I can understand getting sent to another surgeon but the fact that you guys kept trying 3 more times with no results and continued to charge me everytime is absurd. So after over $2000 he was leaking feces into his body and would've gone septic and died and at that point my only choice is to go to the other surgeon which was another $1500 to just walk in. Don't try to make excuses. You guys messed up bad and did nothing to try and make it right. Absolutely heartless. But at least you got your money right.

At the time I made the appointment, I was told a bath and trim for a short haired dog doesn't take that long, "...they will be finished with her pretty fast." I was told she gets a bandana as a part of her grooming. So, I bring her in at 10am and run an errand. An hour and a half later I stop in to see if she is ready as there was no call from them yet. I was told she will be done soon but that I could leave and someone will give me a call when she is ready. So I pay the bill and I leave to run some other errands and still no call another 1.5 hrs. later for a total of 3 hours! I stop in and she still isn't done! I demand her back with my money back. Instead someone (I believe one of the owners)comes out to tell me that she needed to dry in crate on low temperature. My reply, "Its been 3 hours and her hair is like 1/8 inch long".... He started to give me more crapola like, "oh we walk them and water them also..." I finally get her from them. No bandana and she pees in the car after I leave. Some walk she had. I get it that some dog owners and dogs are used to being crated and being at the groomers for ever while they run their errands. However, I am not that kind of owner and our little Freckles (a rescue) is not used to being in a crate. I am very disappointed with the entire experience. I expected much better from Palm City Medical Center's Snips and Snoozes. Never again!

It is also a major plus that it only takes her about 3 hours for my 3 dogs (whereas I used to drop them off to other places and they'd be at salon for 6 or 7 hours). I was charged the first time. This is also a cash only business, which may or may not be shady. If you're going to use this service, make sure they give you a definitive quote upfront..
