I like this store. It's well organized and I can find everything I need for my bet. I love the self-service dog bath and punch card for frequent baths. The staff are always nice -- though perhaps not always pet experts. They often send really good coupons if you join their rewards program. New groomer here and they were very unprofessional. It was difficult getting consistent grooming which was regularly scheduled but I hung in there for 9 visits....about $1k in grooming. They refused to groom him this time after some specific suggestions given the day prior and so he just hung out at the store for an hour. I promptly answered texts then I said groom him as you wish/ need to since he was already stressed about being there. Disappointed but good to know the temperament of this new groomer. read more

Made 3 trips to this store in past week for bulk dog treats. Unsuccessful every time. Was there 2 days ago (which was my second trip in 5 days} and was told "there are tons of boxes in the back, give me a day to go through them before you come back". Went today only to find there still were not any. Sales associate got manager who informed me now on my THIRD trip in a week that the store will no longer be carrying the bulk dog treats. Informed her of what the sales associate told me just 2 days ago about coming back in a day. Voiced my annoyance and frustration to the manager. All she did was offer me a discount on my NEXT trip to the store. Yeah Right. Like I am going to make a 4th trip there. NOT!!! read more

Amazing addition to State College! Huge huge pet store, loads of quality pet food, groomer is not set up yet, but it's coming! Ridiculously helpful staff everywhere, self bathing stations are right out where everyone can watch you clean your pet, loads of toys, amazing!! read more

This place is ridiculous. We met to buy a GOLDFISH and we were told by the girl attending us that she would not sell us a 20cent GOLDFISH unless we had a 30 gallon aquarium. I can not believe I wasted my time and gas going there for a 20 cent GOILDFISH. My tank might only be 20 gallons but he would have it all to himself instead of being crammed in a 30 gallon tank along with 70+ other GOLDFISH. Never again. The groomers are useless. Don't go to the awful groomers! I got ripped taking my dogs there. I will never go there again.

The store it's self is very nice. However I will NOT use the grooming service again. Very disappointed after 3 hrs and 20min. my dog was not groomed as we discussed. Not to mention missing patches and longer streaks down her back. VERY disappointed! When expressed this to owner he acted as though he could not have cared less. In the end did offer " a small discount" which I declined again telling him I was not looking to pay less money I just wanted what I payed for. He said well I'm sorry your not happy and walked away!
