Have been using this grooming salon for 16 years for either 2 dogs for 10 years and now 1 dog for…read morethe last 4 years. Was always pretty happy with them until the previous manager, Katie, left. Now, although I have tried several of the groomers, cannot get my shih tzu groomed to my liking. I want him short all over including the face, but not his tail. He will be 17 years old in 3 weeks and is very laid back. The problem is that he has warts on his body that require care to avoid them when shaving him! Apparently there is no one there who can manage to do the job as they have decided he can no longer go there to be groomed! I am a recently widowed senior and now I have to put him through the stress of finding a new groomer who is not afraid to spend a little more time on his haircut! Would not recommend using this salon as I question whether they really care about the animals or how many they can do in a few hours!

We used to take our Miniature Australian Shepherd here to be groomed and didn't have any problems,…read morehowever after this last trip there we will NOT be going again. We specifically asked the groomer to give him the puppy cut, to keep the undercoat in tact because it helps keep him cool. However the groomer apparently had other plans and decided to buzz him to 1/8 inch in length then said "I hope thats okay." after we SPECIFICALLY told her not to. She also trimmed the hair on his face and made it terribly choppy and lopsided as well as trimmed his whiskers right off. Out of all the incompetent, unqualified staff i have seen anywhere this is absolutely the worst. Paying for a $60 trim, and not getting what we asked for is unacceptable. We did not tip and probably should not have payed either. We will not be going here any more and will be strongly advising every pet owner we know NOT to go here. Terrible, awful service.
