I visited the store for my first time. walked around--not even ack by the 3 people behind the counter. no one offered help --this was a drastic difference from when I used to go there when it was owned by Tony and called Healthy Pet. I picked up 2 small bags of dog food because the sign said that it was buy one, get one. I read the sign multiple times to be sure. At the cash register, it rang up fullprice, so I asked and she wouldn't price check the sign. Also I had attempted to purchase 2 small treats which she rang up more than twice the price on the sign -- I actually think she might have rang up the bigger ones. I questioned that and she insisted that they were the large ones (15"-18") when the ones she was ringing up for me were the small ones (4"-5"). The other cashier suggested that she should check the price and she shrugged and insi that she didnt need to because she was right,. Beware --they will over charge and treat you (the customer) like crap. She said a few snarky remarks and I told her that we will never be back. All I asked was to pay the price on their price tag -- why shouldnt they ring the items up that way, or at least check themselves? read more

Went here today to pick up food because my baby girl (pup) is a very finicky eater! We were at the pet expo last year and heard about this place and some of the food they sell so decided to drive out and pick up some stuff I know she will eat but can't find easy close to home. The staff can over asking if they could help ... knew what I needed but thanks her. Went to pay and there was even some coupons to take advantage of. Pending she eats this food ... We've went to this location for over 10 years and even stuck with them through the pandemic. However, today was the last straw. We went to their old location across the street from South Hills Village and they had great workers. Over the years they have lost those workers who were with them when they moved to their current location and we still went. Now the customer service isn't what it used to be. A few times during the pandemic when they were shut down to order only, we tried to call. We left a voicemail trying to place an order and they never got back to us. So we ordered directly from Fromms. Once they opened the store we went back. Note we only go every three weeks for dog food. Last night I wasn't sure when they opened so I Googled the time and it said 10 a.m. Sunday. I do follow them on social, but if it's not in my feed I don't see their posts unless I have to look for it. When we arrived on Sunday I noticed the door said closed. Other customers pulled into the lot so it was confusing what was going on, so I called the store. Their store hours still said they were open on Sundays. I even looked at Google again to double check myself seeing that it still said they were opened and took a screen shot. I looked at their IG and noticed that they had a post 26 minutes before the store was supposed to open about their hour change. I commented and then it seemed like 4 people had opinions on what I did wrong, not what the store did wrong. Then magically after I made my criticism the store updated everything on Google. The thing I love most about this experience is the owner of the IG account wrote a post mentioning my feedback as "sour" and thanked the people that tried bullying/shaming me for doing so. This is no way to run a business. I have recommended this place to family, friends and coworkers and have no problem of telling them of this whole ordeal. I recommend Pet Supplies Plus over this place any day. read more

Very knowledgeable, helpful sales associates are here to assist you. I was looking for something to ease my dog's anxiety when she is riding in a car. Two associates showed me different herbal remedies, stress vitamins and the Thunder Shirt. The Thunder Shirt seemed very pricey, so I decided to purchase one of the herbal treats, along with some special dog biscuits. They carry the higher end dog foods, including raw foods. As I was checking out, I was informed they have a loyalty program. Unfortunately, I am only in this area 1-2x a year, so it wouldn't work for me, but for anyone who does live near, it may benefit them. Also, it would be nice to support a business that's not a chain store. read more

We love this place! We have had problems with our toy puppy since we brought her home. They have worked with us and provided recommendations treat everything from itchy ears and skin to digestive issues. I appreciate that they have done their due diligence to only carry the very best products. Each member of the staff is so well educated that I am impressed every time I visit. When one thing doesn't work, they are happy to keep trying new things until a solution is found. Their prices are fair and customer service is great. read more

Their selection isn't that large, but it is definitely high quality pet products. My dog has a very sensitive stomach and can only eat some products. The woman that helped us was VERY knowledgable about the products the store carried (I don't know if she was the owner or not,) she could explain the products to a T, and informed us on how we could feed our dog with these products while it still be affordable! (She even gave us samples of the just add water freeze dried food to see if our dog liked it before we bought it!) On top of all the high quality food, they carry a lot of home remedies for your dog (they also carry Aromadog and Aromacat!!!). Will be back to buy more when we determine which samples she likes! read more
