He charged $300 for the repair of a leaky skylight and $50 for the repair of a carpet tear. After dumping him for charging us other fees for work that was never authorized by us, we found out that the skylight still leaked and we had to pay another $250 to actually have it repaired and the carpet repair amounted to his applying duct tape. Add to this the fact that you will never see your rent payment until the the 25th of the month (if you are lucky) and you've got bad news all around. Don't use him to manage your properties at any cost.

I especially like the practice of doing yearly inspections on the property so issues can be addressed with both renter and owner. I recently added the second rental to my portfolio. Fred, the owner and Sheila, one of the office workers have been especially helpful to me. I have been a landlord for many more than 20 years and have experienced many renters who pay late, partial, or not at all. I know my personality and many times I come out the looser because I let things go when I shouldn't. I also know my budget and I simply can not afford to cover these. Knowing that this is a business and someone else will enforce the rules is a big help to me. I appreciate the professional way that TJ Guyer handles these situations. They are working for me and have an obligation to enforce the things that are important to me. (Lawn care, etc.) I highly recommend this property management company!
