this is how i was treated. i received this email from management: "I'm sorry but we don't install used catalytic converters. But with everything that happened last year with my technician's phone and credit card, we can't have you or the car up here. That's just the way it has to be, my guys work to hard for their possessions to be taken and their money spent without their consent. Tell your shop to go through 1800 radiator as they have reasonable pricing and a lifetime warranty." mechanic claims left his cell in my car after he repaired it. he came to my house to check if it was left in my car. it was not. he got his cell back but i do not know how. just found yesterday that he filed a complaint then dropped charges after he got his phone back. how, where, when? there are cameras everywhere. i am shocked and appalled this occurred without my knowledge. i had even been waiting there after xmas in their lobby where i bought my car from management for further work to be done on it. never was anything said to me!!!!!!!!!!! meanwhile while i am headed home after this repair, and the time this mechanic realized he did not have his cell, i am told that a woman was on camera at harris teeter (location unknown to me) pulling his cell out of HER purse and swiping the payment device! i never would have known this had I not asked for a certain part for this car had i not contacted this place of business. read more

I would like to tell you about an experience that I had this week. On Tuesday October 19th I was driving from Keysville, Va to Jacksonville, NC. when my truck started making a noise like someone had thrown a pack of lit firecrackers into the engine, Just what I needed on this trip, My sister had had surgery the day before and was going home with me for recovery and I also had my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter with me. I pulled into a parking lot and used my GPS to locate the nearest garage. Odoms Motor Service was the first on the list. After a brief conversation the mechanics came to my rescue. They believed it to be a "quick fix" (I should have known better). They towed us back to the station and began to work on the truck. Time went by and the "bad" news began to get worse. Remember now, I have a patient and a 2 1/2 year old with me, and oh a little dog as well. Now the experience I wanted to share. The people of this establishment were AAA+++, the kindness and courtesy they showed us made us feel as though they had known us, Elwood took to my granddaughter and she to him, kind of a surrogate grandpa, Susan was so nice and very easy to talk to, Scott and Johnny were so wonderful that I just cannot explain. With the amount of work needed to the truck we had to stay at a hotel for the night, Johnny drove us to the hotel and even asked if we needed to go to the store or anywhere else before he left. The next morning they picked us up and we returned to the service station. after a while Johnny and Scott insisted that we go to his home where we could relax and Carolanne could play and run around without danger of cars and tools telling us that if we needed anything to just call and to make ourselves at home and they would pick us up when the truck was ready. A couple of hours later and we were returning to the station. When we left that evening we were sent off with hugs and well wishes, asked to stop by if were ever in town. We were given the private phone numbers and were told to call when we got home so they know we made it safe. Susan called while we were driving just to make sure we were doing okay. They showed care and compassion to me and my family that I cannot imagine getting in any service station. Odoms did not take advantage of the situation by jacking up the pricing, we were stranded so we would have had to pay anything to get the truck going but they did not. They are Good, Honest people and proved that there are really good people in this country, what a great blessing they were to us. I am sure that I will come through this town again, and I will have to stop in to see these wonderful people. But if I should not have the opportunity to do so I wanted the people of your city to know what a great group of people they have representing them. read more

when i took my 2004 grand prix in .it was skipping and knocking like crazy. i took it in around 2pm on (12-2-16). mr. glen called me back around 4:30....the same day and told me it was ready !!!! when i picked it up, it was running like new !!!! he also told me what i needed to do to further the upkeep on it. !!!! the cost of repairs was reasonable !!!! thank you !!!! this is my new repair shop !!!!!! again, thank you !!!! read more
