My parents have been using Black's for years, and I have no idea why. This trip, for example, I had an appointment to get an emissions test, which you think should be quick so I waited in the lobby. After almost an hour, I walked up to the front and asked about my car. They told me that the tool they use for the test is dead and needs another hour to be charged. Instead of telling me this in any sort of timely manner, the staff at the front was too busy telling stories about scratching their gooches and such with people in the lobby area. I can't imagine I will be back to using them, and I will discourage anyone I can from going to Black's. read more

Should be negative stars. Visited this shop a few months ago for a tire with a slow leak. Made an appointment. It took two hours for them to determine that the leak was from the bead. A little bead seal and it was finally done. Car sat for an hour and forty five minutes. Total work time was about fifteen. Service writer apologized profusely and said it was an anomaly. First mistake: I believed her. Second mistake: I went back. Brought another car in for leaky tire and rotation. An hour and forty five minutes after my appointment began was informed tires needed to be replaced. Additional thirty expired before being informed that they didn't even have the tires they sold me. Total waste of my time, and late for work. Make you own choice, but I will NEVER go back! read more

I was 200 miles into a 500 mile trip today and got a flat tire. Fortunately I was able to get off the interstate and pulled into a gas station about a mile from Black's. After waiting for 90 minutes for AAA, I called Blacks and within 15 minutes a man (Lance) was at my car, put on my donut spare and off we went to the shop!! From start to finish, I was back on the road in an hour. They were amazing!! The price was amazing too. They could have taken advantage of me being a woman traveling alone out of state but they were the best. I so appreciate the fabulous service I was given!!!! Great customer service! Got a flat on I-85 and they had me in and out very quickly. People were very friendly and helpful. Even mounted my tire for free after I said I'd do it myself. Only been there once but the service I received was excellent. Would highly recommend! read more

AMAZING. Just to start, I got a flat on the highway and found this place due to the great reviews. Long story short, I am in college and have a red BMW and have gotten screwed over on prices multiple times (simply because I honestly have no clue on how to fix this car). Anywho, had to drop the keys off in the box, get a hotel room, the whole she-bang. I show up the next morning around 9 am and they are very forward and friendly in what the best prices are for tires. I ended up getting 2 new tires plus service for 220! Absolutely amazing! They were not trying to screw me over what so ever. What's more, the tires had to be imported from Durham and the truck was not leaving until 1:30 pm. Since the manager knew I was traveling, he personally drove to and from Durham to get me the tires. All in all, I can easily say this was the the BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT AN AUTO SHOP. Love this place and thank you guys so so much! 10/10 would recommend! read more
