I told her I didn't want a cortisone shot in the heel so she gave me medication, but told me to come back in a couple of weeks if it didn't help. She also gave me stretching exercises to help it. While I trusted Dr. Giraldi's medical opinion, dealing with the staff is beyond frustrating. From being put on hold for 7-10 minutes (seems like this happens every time I call), only for them to pick up the phone and hang up as if you weren't waiting, or being told that you'll get a return call which NEVER comes (which has happened to me at least 3 times), to being told that your CD of imaging results (that you provided to them) can't be found, to being told that you will get changed $10 for ONE page of your own medical records (which is against the law, per NJ Statute NJSA §26:2H-5n) - to waiting over a month for requests for certain treatment be submitted to your insurance carrier - dealing with the office is enough to make you want to treat elsewhere. it's a shame, because I liked Dr. Giraldi.

Saw Marina Mankovetskiy but before even coming in to speak with me or observe my foot- she jumped straight into "we need to do xrays". Nice to go straight to that conclusion without an assessment. She finally came in to see me and went on about "process of elimination" and although she didn't want to "assume". She assumed there was somehow a foreign body in my foot. Really??? I'm no professional but this made absolutely no sense to me. Come to find out-I had yeast/athletes foot. There's no way she didn't know that before pressuring me to get an X-ray. Somehow, after the X-ray, she was able to come back with a diagnosis. But there's no way she didn't know what was wrong with me after I insisted I get checked out. What a scam. Was sent home with iodine and a claim to send a sample of my dry skin to the lab. Had to make an appointment to see her again-pay more money just to then get a treatment plan after 2 weeks of discomfort. No thanks!! I wont allow my insurance to pay another red cent to this scam Artist of a Dr. Should have known they would get all they could out of my insurance- the office was dead. No other patient in sight. It would have been nice if he called and told me not to come when he realized the exray machine was broken but he needed to be paid a visit so I wiggled my toe so he could be paid. I guess my time is not as important as his.
