The building is easy to find, and they have a parking lot. The check-in and wait was quick. There's a pen cup with breasts on it, and the pink pens are super cute. There's only one paper to fill out if you've done the online registration beforehand. Then you go to a room with a nurse and go thru some details (family history etc). She takes you to a small dressing room where you get into a gown and put your stuff in a cute, secure locker. Here's the only drawback: The gown ties in the middle so you have to clutch it closed or your chest will be exposed in the waiting room. Also, the gown doesn't have pockets, so there's no place to put your locker key. (I tucked mine in my bun bc I was wearing leggings that didn't have pockets.) NOTE FOR FUTURE SELF: Bring 2 pins, one to close top of gown for waiting room and walking around between rooms, the second to pin your locker key to your gown or pants (or wear pants or a skirt with pockets). Or wear one of those wrist/armbands with a small pocket (for running or hiking or whatever). I had a sonogram then a 3D mammography. The care was gentle and, well, caring. You get your results before you leave, so no stressing out waiting. 110% recommend MBC! PS: To the reviewer who didn't get an appointment bc THEY didn't call HER to make an appointment? Like, that's not even a thing. (Also, no friends, only 1 review, and created her account in January just to post this negative review, even tho she lives in San Francisco? Looks like her review is the bad apple in the bunch.) OH YEAH, I have to mention they took my insurance and I just had a $xx copay. When I first found this place I was worried it would be out-of-pocket and I wouldn't be able to afford it. If you're nervous, don't be. Just go!

Roll around to November 2024, while I was doing pushups, my right arm went "dead". Nothing could have stressed me out more when it was diagnosed that I needed surgery to repair a torn labrum, remove a cyst and clean out some calcium deposits. Working with Dr. Jason Garcia and his staff at Summit Health made this process as smooth as possible. Starting from working with their surgical coordinator, to ensure all the required paperwork and tests were complete, to the Surgery Center they use, which is clean and makes the pickup process smooth. You want someone like Dr. Garcia performing surgery. He is a rock star. For me, his confidence made me feel that this was the right choice. The surgery could not have gone better. I was able to start PT 9 days after my surgery. My therapists almost didn't believe I had shoulder surgery because of my range of motion. I've already been to the golf range, have been doing all the yardwork and got a bunch of painting done. I have no pain and it's only been 7 months. Stay on top of your PT and let Dr. Garcia do his thing.

I've been using (Kinesiology) K-Tape for over a year but it was starting to wear on my skin & it was not even working in the end so it was time to see a doctor. I researched at least 10 Orthopaedic surgeons in my area on Health-grades, Google, Yelp and other sites. Dr Garcia had the best reviews & back in 2008 my mom broke both ankles and Dr Garcia treated her so I decided to call his office. Lea made an appointment for me and she was so kind, got me in ASAP after explain the pain is traveling down my leg. They text me instructions the morning of my appointment on what to do when I arrived. I got there a few minutes early- texted: ARRIVED and they text me back within minutes telling me to come in. The office was spotless, I checked in and within five minutes I was brought into an exam room. After the very sweet nurse took my info- Leo came in and took me for X-rays. He was such a pleasant guy and we had a nice chat. I must say the staff is amazing and everyone was so kind. After the X-rays, Dr Garcia and his physician assistant came in, we talked, he examined my knees and he decided to start out with cortisone in each knee-- that wasn't fun BUT when I went to bed last night it was the first time in over a year my knees weren't bothering me then when I woke up, after sleeping straight through the night-I couldn't believe it, I kept touching the bone that sent shockwaves through my body the day before and the pain was gone. Dr Garcia was so kind and gentle, his personality is friendly not like some doctors who have no bedside manner with patients. No wonder his review ratings are excellent. I am so glad I chose this practice & Dr Garcia and it turns out they are a part of Summit Medical Group. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr Jason Garcia to all and any of my friends and family. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. And they have valet parking too! If you're in pain call Dr Garcia.

It was done laparoscopically (with the tiny holes and the cameras) and I went home on the same day. I had a great recovery! My wounds healed fine and I didn't even need to take a single percocet that I was prescribed for postoperative pain. All I needed was a couple of motrin tablets for a few days. Best of all... No more excruciating gallbladder attacks! In a way this is the most legit yelp review I've ever written because I don't know what exactly goes on in the kitchens of the restaurants I go to. With Dr. Feteiha however, I am lucky in that I definitely had the inside scoop. I work in healthcare and actually chose Dr. Feteiha based on extensive 1st hand experience observing him. I've watched him operate, interact with colleagues as well as patients. He is a very skilled surgeon and has a great bedside manner. He also actually really cares about his patients.

I would not recommend the Emergency room at St Barnabas to the most vile individual. The Emergency Room at RWJ St Barnabas Hospital Livingston is a place I would not recommend any breathing soul to visit. PLEASE DO YOUR LOVED ONES A FAVOR, GO ELSEWHERE (Morristown Memorial, St Claire's, Holyname, Englewood) Our experience felt like something straight off tv! Pediatric Nurse Erin R (a disgrace) and Grace R (horrible) Nurses in pediatrics HORRIBLE! These nurses are a disgrace to RWJ St Barnabas. The Pediatric Emergency Room is beyond horrible. My child could not walk, or stand. I asked the nurse at the entrance if she could bring a stretcher to help, get my child into the ER., my child was weak, in enormous pain. The nurse huffed at me like I was asking for millions of dollars. My child was admitted, needed 2 transfusions, and needed intensive care. The lack of compassion, care, no concern, desensitized, inappropriate behavior of the ER nursing staff, lack of communication amongst doctor's, nurses, and patients is life threatening. I will say the Pediatric floor has improved, and I appreciate all of the nurses that has cared for my child for the past 4 years. Unfortunately due to a few bad apples in the ER, we will never return to this place, regardless of the circumstances. This hospital is a train wreck looking for a time, and place. It won't be with my family or friends! Yes sharing your review on social media will encourage others to think twice. Hopefully positive changes for the better will happen, that hold a few bad surgeons, and nurses accountable. The Joint Commission, medical board, nursing license board, consumer affairs, as well as going after these negligent surgeons at St Barnabas ability to write medication for pain, narcotics will get immediate attention, adding loss of accreditation, possibly being kicked to a Tier 2 hospital which will hurt the hospital financially. Only after RWJ St Barnabas is held fully accountable on every level that affects there finances will they understand the depth of pain, and disappointment, that they have caused patients, families, and the community!

Each time though while there have been hiccups, overall each visit has been pretty good things considered. Average wait time is about 25-30 minutes and most of the time the staff have been patient and helpful with my clients. The ER is very big and accomodating for people which probably helps with the fairly reasonable wait times. The check in is pretty efficient although they should have a better system than shouting the persons name and have them schlep over to the desk. The parking is fair and they validate which is nice as having been to other hospitals it is not like that and despite paying is a royal pain in the rear. Hospitals in general aren't ideal places for visiting but here by way of the ER, you could do a lot worse.
