While technically this was not illegal,(at least I'm told it's not illegal but I will be consulting with my lawyers tomorrow)it is unscrupulous and unethical not to mention sexist.They had no alternative accommodation to offer and left them high and dry! When I had any building issues, they were quick to offer suggestions and had a few companies to hand to recommend. I never felt I was dealing with everything by myself. When I was trying to sell a few years ago, and recently, they were quick to facilitate this as much as possible by liaising with agents/tenants and potential buyers, and were quick to point out any responsibilities I had to my tenant as well as cooperating with my best interests too.
