I am deducting a star because 1) there is no separation door between smoking and non-smoking area and a real American bar would never have a smoking section anyway! The only problem was temperature control, as it was incredibly warm, with no air conditioning and only a large fan at the door. The cocktails themselves weren't terribly unique, but they did use great ingredients, and all the flavors were very well-balanced. I got my usual old-fashioned, and tried the Moscow Mule and espresso martini. I really enjoyed the old-fashioned, and the espresso martini was very tasty. The service was very attentive, and were very quick about getting us our drinks. The prices were pretty expensive for the area at about 10 Euros each, but as they were strong and well-made, it wasn't too much of a problem. Considering that many of the bars in Vienna only served things like Long Island Iced Teas and random, hackneyed mixed drinks, it was a welcome sight. Likely the best cocktail bar in the area that isn't crowded to the brim. There were plenty of other bars nearby, but none had the repertoire and laidback atmosphere. Cocktails are mid range price commensurate with Ritz Carlton level of service. Wait staff is younger so there is a hip vibe. For my taste there is too much smoking allowed in public outdoor spaces, this being one of those spaces. Of course it depends on who is sitting adjacent to you, but it is annoying. It is a smallish area but there's is a good number of tables, some with umbrellas, which comes in handy when it's sunny. It is worth seeing and experiencing, noting there are a handful of roof top options.

It gets very busy on the weekends so if you come for a drink and chat then forget it. A great place to party but not really for chatting with friends. Toilets are very small so there might be a queue. Over a pretty decent place. Will be back.
