The hair dresser I had did my colour awesome! however the second time I had it done I noticed a few spots where I could see grey just a bit, so I asked her if she could cover that spot because if i leave it my hair will grows and it will get larger so she did. But I told her how much I love my hair and what a great job she did. Then months later I got my hair done again and same thing happened and this time there was a bit more brown on one side so I just kindly asked her if she could cover the grey spot and just put 2 highlights on that area where it was a bit darker. She said ok, but then later talked to me and told me that she doesn't think she can make me happy, i said 'no, you are great i love my hair, maybe that part is just a bit grey resistant and needs to be on longer. Then 3 months later I called to book an appointment the secretary said she was away, then I called a few days later and asked how long she would be away I ended up getting a different secretary who said she is not away and booked me an appointment. The next day i saw a email from her saying she did not think I am satisfied with her work. Instead of emailing back I decided to be more personable and go and talk in person and I wanted to respect her decision not wanting me as a customer but I thought to give her a thank you card to let her know I appreciated her work. I decided to go there to let her know I am very satisfied with her work, I loved my hair everytime it was done! All of a sudden I get there and some hair dresser comes out and the manager and tells me she doesn't want to see me! It was like a movie! She said in a rough voice 'did you not get her email' I said yes I understand she doesn't want me as a customer but I just wanted to give her this Thank you card to let her know that I did appreciate her services! She said to me 'She doesn't want anything from you and doesn't want to see you and if you don't leave the property I will call security! I couldn't believe this was happening to me! It was like some abusive relationship had taken place! I felt dehumanizing and worthless! I could not believe all of that happened just because I asked for my hair to be corrected, I mean I did spent well over $100! I also respected that she did not want me as a customer but I thought I would be encouraging to let her know i think she us a great hair dresser even if she doesn't wabt me as a customer. i was there to drop off a thank you card and was treated like a absolute criminal!!! For a Manger to treat me like that is despicable!!! I was non threatening and never got an apology, she never bothered to listen to me, nothing! This has been the worst experience of my entire life going to a salon! Or deaking with any business! Don't go! Run! Not worth it! if you want a correction be leary! If she treated me like that I am sure she has others like this!

The care team was excellent and supported my mom well past the time other places might have suggested she go into a nursing home with her Alzheimers. And to add to that - I live in California and they were constantly in touch with me to keep me in touch with anything and everything going on with my mom, far beyond their responsibility as a retirement home - because its NOT a nursing home. She texted me a few days ago to say that she was in hospital. Doctors were trying to diagnose her pain. When they finally had her undergo a ton of tests, they got a proper diagnosis and operated on her on Thursday. She let me know on Friday that she was recovering. I had asked her to keep me posted. I also said that I'd come visit her when the time was right on her end. Sure enough, she said that she'd like visitors. On Saturday, I made drive over to Peterborough Regional Health Centre, which is the city's lone hospital. I hoped that a familiar face would make her day. I found the first visitor's parking lot, pulled in, got a ticket from the machine, and proceeded to park. I had my window down and a woman commented on how pretty my blue car was. I thanked her. I like friendly folks. I entered the south entrance of the hospital. I should have driven a bit further to the main entrance. However, it was good to walk around and figure out where things were. The south entrance is where the mental health centre is. There were signs that directed me to the visitor set of elevators. It's good that I started on the first floor. There is a courtyard with lots of pretty plants and flowers, and tables with small pumpkins on top. It was a calming place for patients and visitors to take a breather. I took the elevator up to the fourth floor. It's where the information desk is. It's an odd setup, but it does work. I spoke to a man about finding where my friend was. I spelled my friend's last name and provided her first name. He asked whether I had been to this hospital. I suppose that I wasn't sporting a confused look on my face. I did indeed need help figuring out how to get to her. She was on the fifth floor and he gave helpful turn-by-turn details. He also wrote down the wing and room number for me on a small piece of paper. I thanked him. The fourth floor has a cafeteria. It looked spacious. I saw information about a beyond burger. There is also a gift shop if you need to grab something before heading to see a loved one. If you know me fairly well, I am a planner. I was armed with a get-well card that contained a gift card. I didn't want to get anything heavy for my friend or her partner to carry back home. I found her. She had a private room. I spent 1.5 hours with her. I didn't want to take up a ton of time, as she needed to recover. It was great seeing her and chatting. I met two of her nurses, who were both nice and knowledgeable. My friend agreed. She advised that she only had one nurse in the ICU who had an attitude problem when her pain was at its worst. There is sadly a bad apple in any crop. She likes her surgeon and got to meet him. She is recovering nicely, which is such a relief. She was in good spirits and was understandably tired. Some doors through the hospital require hitting a button before entering. Someone helped me with that while finding my friend. I looked like a tourist with this little piece of paper that had my friend's room number. For some reason, folks seem to think that I know what I am doing, no matter when I am. One older woman, who was waiting by the elevators with me, asked me where emergency was. I didn't have a clue. I was focused on going up to the fifth floor where my friend was. I need to bring back my puzzled look on my face again. Visitor parking is reasonable. I paid $10 at a machine using my credit card. I had hit the maximum daily amount. The machine accepts tap, which worked fine. You have fifteen minutes to exit the parking lot after you have paid. If you are coming and going, it's best to get a pass. There are no visiting hour restrictions. Staff can set restrictions, if required. Flexibility is nice, provided that visitors aren't being rude holding a rave at 2 am. After I exited the parking lot, I drove over to see the main entrance. I hope that there isn't a next time, but I now know that it may be best to park over there instead for convenience. I had a good experience as a visitor. My friend got and is getting decent care at this hospital. She is in good hands, which makes me feel at ease. (421)

Being from out of town and first time fathers, we really didn't know what to expect. Luckily, we had the most professional, compassionate, and patient nurses at the NICU. Our two nurses (Kat & Tiffany) were amazing throughout our stay. They explained everything to us and made sure we took care of ourselves too. I can't say enough about these two. The staff worked to place us in a stay down unit to help save on costs since we are not part of Ontario Health. Overall a great experience in a situation that is not the best. Thank you!!!

My dog has benefitted from her excellent care in a lot of ways and so has my pocketbook. My dog has hurt both her ACL/CCL one right after the other. It was very debatable if she needed surgery and one surgery could lead to the other. Both would have been long recoveries and very expensive. I am so grateful for her helping my dog with her pain and recovery. Going to Rachel was the best decision I ever made for the overall health of my service dog. Her clinic is clean and new and her low level laser rocks!

True psychics and their guides do not give this type of news (only helpful encouraging info should be passed on - you should never leave a reading feeling scared, you should always feel lighter, encouraged and Empowered), they also would never have the energy to be reading all day if they were truly using their gift. PLEASE be very careful, I know some people think she's amazing but my and my friends reading were all very damaging - please take her reading as fun and don't make any sort of life choices based on what she says.
