The clerk Shannon will not allow you to talk to anyone , she takes it upon…read moreherself and goes by script, and makes it her own by giving a decision if your help qualifies you to apply. Was told by a RCMP Sargeant that I do qualify for Legal Aide but this Shannon at front desk told me he's wrong and the rules don't apply to my case. I said , your telling me that a RCMP Sargeant is wrong with giving me this information and place to get help. She said YES and for him to call her and she will set you straight. So here goes Sarg. RCMP Brideau , can you please call Shannon here at Legal Aide Fredericton , also your address is wrong it's not 356 Queen Street - for all who can't find it - it's 412 Queen Street and go up flight stairs 2nd floor and follow along dreary hallway and meet Shannon , the clerk secretary that makes your story - her decision , you don't get to talk to a real lawyer that has qualfications and expert , they are the ones to make decision not HER ...

All attorneys and staff were very friendly and share a common concern for those persons lacking family support as they age or are disabled in a way that limits their ability to either care for themselves or finances. Of course they offer more than what the Public Trustee does (known as Public Guardian in my parts, and I'm a Private Trustee) but it's a good sign that the services they offer will be handled professionally and with care.
