Another contractor gave me Barneys number and wow what great choice. This man has years of painting under his belt and it showed in how he conducted business with me and the quality of his work. He gave me a price for the work I wanted done and not only was the quality of his work A+ but he stuck to his price even after running into some extra work he didn't count on when doing the original estimate. He wouldn't even take the extra money I offered him after he job was over. I thought I was the only other contractor who conducted business like that. Eminence came to my place within a week of calling to give me a quote and upon acceptance they started work in two weeks. Here are the highlights of my job which impressed me: I have a tall metal tractor barn that was scorched during the big fire last year. They repainted the barn so that it looks new. I had an outside area where I removed some cabinets and needed the old paint behind the cabinets matched with the paint job I had done 5 years ago. Daniel and his crew painted the whole wall to match perfectly. Inside, I removed my TV from the wall mount and attempted to patch the holes to match the "orange peel" texture. My work was "not good". I was astonished that Daniel fixed what I did so that it was impossible to detect any anomalies in the wall at all! His wall work is excellent. I had done a lot of the prep work before the Eminence team arrived: took off switch plates, removed furniture from rooms, took down paintings, light fixtures and the like. Eminence deducted the costs of them having to do that work from my bill. Communication was what one would expect. I was told when the painters would arrive, when they would be done and all my questions were answered promptly. I've had crappy painters in the past who overcharge, don't prep well and are sloppy. Eminence is now my "go-to" for painting buildings.

He taped plastic around his work area, used a tarp to protect our flooring and wore booties over his work boots to keep things clean. He was efficient and I could tell he has good experience at drywall repair. While on-site we asked for two additional items to be touched up; he took care of both. The color was an excellent match as was the mudding for our smooth finish ceiling. I would hire Martin's company for any similar projects in the future.
