Always wondered what was in this gentlemen's club that had a cow above the sign. My wife and I went got a couple drinks and sat for about 10-15 minutes. There were no dancers dancing. There looked to be dancers sitting around the bar vaping with the bartender and security After sitting in a room with no entertainment for a while, we got up and left. Pete, whom to dispute Benjamin B.'s earlier post actually does exist. Not only does he exist, so does his daughter and son-in-law who help him run the place. And not only does his daughter and son-in-law exist, so too does their infant toddler, who can also be seen behind or atop the bar in his car seat from time to time. Although he IS underage, so I'm not sure what the family is thinking here. I'm guessing it's probably good for his early development - seeing all those titties and such. Anywho, once you get past the idea of being in a former butcher shop with strippers and beer, it's actually pretty cool. Although the ATM machine didn't work, making the entire scheme to snatch my wife's credit card a total waste of time. But that's why you have friends, right? After borrowing a couple hundo from my boys, I spent most of the evening in the VIP room, which I think at one time may have been a slaughterhouse or something. Not cool. But there were no cameras or spying managers in this area and, Pete and his crew (minus the kid in the car seat) were nowhere in sight, allowing my dancer to put on quite the show. My interaction was with some surly, limited individuals with whom a rational conversation was not possible. Paid the cover, bought a beer (eventually, after Luther had finished tending to his chores...) and was out the door in 10 minutes... 9 minutes of that having been spent being ignored by Luther and badmouthed by some trailer park queen that rumbled out of the back to defend her special needs bartender pal... Star Valley is a wide spot in the road for good reason and this establishment is a collection of folks that got stuck here and were unable to claw their way out... and they are obviously very unhappy about it. Maybe that was the essence of their incivility and rudeness. They are just angry at anyone that doesn't have to stay in "town". I can't not review this place. It's by far the oddest strip club I have ever been to. We were lured in by the old sign out front from the old butcher's shop that is a large cow. On top of the cow now hangs a sign that announcing the strip club! How awesome is that!? A strip club sign on a fake cow! So we just had to go in. There was one other car in the parking lot, so were a slight bit nervous. We had 2 couples, so in we go. Wait? Is this a strip club? A restaurant? A bar? It was so confusing. They have a 2 drink minimum. We sat at the bar first and the bartender was really friendly. To our left is a small stage with a pole and about 8 or 10 tables (kind of card table like) around the room. There's a DJ and everything! And 4 girls working. They rotate every 2 songs. So after like 15 minutes we had seen them all dance twice. We went and sat at a table. The girls were nice. It just got a little awkward with it just being us and only 4 of them. We felt obligated to keep walking up and putting money on the stage. Talent was pretty much what you would expect from a small town. I for one was happy all the girls had real boobs. It was one girl's first day and she was being "trained". We got her "first official lap dance" and wow. It was cute, needed tons of work, but is for sure something we will NEVER forget! (Joshua W, please review this nugget yourself, I can't take the glory from you). You have to try this place out! They even have a "back room" with a couch and curtain and for $20 instead of $10 you can get a more private sub par dance. Sit at the bar (not bad drink prices). And take it all in. Horrible. If you like big hillbilly women, this is the place for you. The lights were bright which is never a good idea with sub par talent. The music was so quiet you could hear the hooker heals hitting the wood floor every time a girl moved. The few girls that did come to our table sounded like they had been chain smoking since they were 5. The security was rude. They asked us how much we had been drinking (1 beer with dinner) and told us that we better not get too rowdy because they were keeping an eye out for trouble. The best thing about going to this strip club was the fact that I have never spent less money in one of these establishments. This place is different than your average gentlemens club. Its more like a neighborhood bar with dancing ladies. They have great food and good drink prices. Its not sleazy like some of the places I've been to in Phoenix. This would be a great place to bring your girlfriend or wife as the dancers are friendly to couples. Not a bad place to bring your guys as well being there is not much better to do in Star Valley. Went fishing with some friends had to see the type of girls at a club with a cow on the sign, we expected a bunch of toothless hillbillies but surprisingly walking in the place inside is Beautiful all wood very nice, the girls were mostly pretty but all very sweet and fun to talk to, dances are same price as phoenix $10 floor $20 vip, except not much privacy in vip as well as they have cameras on every couch in the back and won't hesitate to yell at you for touching a ankle, drinks are strong as shit and the bartender/owner gets really drunk and can be a ass. Now we have established I am a dirty old man let me report on Pete's Place. It's in an old butcher shop, on a road leading to the back country of Arizona. During hunting season the clients increase. The women are pretty much locals with an occasional professional passing through to nowhere. They are attractive and friendly (what do you expect, they need to be attractive and friendly to make money). The drinks are a little watered and expensive (you have to have 2, it's house rules.) Now here is the big BUT. What do you expect in a town called Star Valley. Not a lot of sensual action in Payson or Star Valley like the big cities of the world. You can enjoy the dancers and even spend a few extra bucks for a private dance if you wish. If you are visiting on your way to somewhere else or live in the area stop by, help pay the girls living expenses. It's a strange place but I have been in stranger. If you've ever driven up to the rim by turning right in Payson at the Mcdonalds light and going to rim road 300, you have driven through Star Valley and also by Pete's Place. It doesn't look like a titty bar from its sign which has Pete's Place written on it and then standing on top of the sign there is a bull. But, once entering petes place you can make no mistake that its a titty bar. Now the girls working there are the kinda girls you would expect to work at a titty bar in a location that this one is in. And the urinals have ice in them, that alone deserves five stars. Oh and the decor kicked ass as well, it is decked out all with wood. Like some kind of hunting lodge or something. I looked for Pete but i don't think he exists. It boasts that it is Star Valley's #1 gentlemans club, well it better be considering it is the only one in Star Valley. Definitely it's cooler in Payson right now but unless you wanna be sweating the whole time if you stay active and even long after due to the fact that they only have a cooler right outside the dressing room. There is not ventilation inside the girls room at all. But I'm not here to talk crap about this place as far as looks go. Yes, you might make some money but be prepared to pay high fees. Yes, ladies ridiculous large amounts of fees that will want you wish to stay in the valley becuase after all these fees and hot environment is like if you were dancing at any major club that is decent around here. I don't mind paying my dues it's only fair to the club and to me. The owners name is Joe and I had communicated with him over email and by phone. Finally when I made up my mind I decided to ask about all the house fees that I will have to pay at the end of the night. He informed me by phone that for every $20.00 in VIP dances I was to keep $16 and floor dances are $10 but you get to keep $8. He didnt mention anything else. So me and my friend decided to make a drive up there. Once we got there he threw another $10 each for security and DJ (keep in mind they both took off early and you can't even choose your songs) I thought that was fair too although he didnt mention anything about that. Then I got suspicious when he said all we have to do is to worry about making money and that they will be keeping track of the dances so at the end of the nite the club was in charge of telling us how much to pay. So, me and my friend decided to keep track of all our dances ourselves. Then I spoke to one of the girls that was working there and she said that her fees were so high but she had no other choice at this time. By then I decided to approach him and asked him how many dances he had me down for. As I suspected the number didn't match at all so I told him that that's not what I had and all he said was don't worry it's all going to work out. I said no it's not if I have to pay for dances I didn't do. Fine it was almost closing time and when it was time to pay. Bang he f me over with dances I didn't have. And not only that all of a sudden security and DJ fees were not only 10 dollars each. Now it was the 20% of your dances plus 10% of your total before his deducted fees for a DJ and security that werent even present there. I expressed to him I shouldnt have to pay that because it's not what was explained to us and because they were there for only half of the night. Plus he added dances that I didn't do. His response was oh well they left so what and this is the way I have run business in last 9+years and it works out for me. So I was like here is your money because I don't feel like arguing. And did threat him with writing a review so girls know what to expect instead of going all the way up there blind like me. Bottom line is I don't mind paying my dues but I should of have been informed about all the fees when I asked. And the one the makes me more upset is that he wrote down more dances than the ones we had done. I'm sorry but I do have a problem paying a percentage of dances I didn't do. Overall there was ok money to be made but think about this. I'm a person who usually works 3-4 hours top around the valley and make decent money. If you were to stay here and commit yourself to the 9 hours that he makes to stay up there you can make more here and don't even have to leave no where. Believe me there is still decent places to work around here. One thing I had in common with the Valley girls that went up there is that we just don't wanna be recognized around here. My advice is that if that's the case don't make the same mistake as me. Put on a wig or something. But i'm telling you if you commit to the same long hours here in the valley you will probably make more. It was the action that makes me very upset. He is just a sellsman selling you the right pitch to get you up there and then f you over when it's time to pay. Also patrons just like he likes adding dances to our books so we have to pay him more. He likes adding drinks to your tab especially if you go with your friends. It's easy for them to do it because they will make up drinks and blame your friends even if they were paying for those drinks out of pocket. I was there and witnessed it myself smho. Keep track of your tab and better yet don't leave it open because it doesn't matter how much you argue it they will make you pay the amount they claim you owe. I don't feel like I'm being disrespectful about it. I'm only an upset girl who was lied to when I asked questions and tried to do my own research before heading up there. I went over a year ago but I never got around to writing this review. I would like to reiterate previous reviews and confirm Pete is real, but Pete is not his actual name (though he will answer to it). People keep saying that it used to be a butcher shop which I cannot confirm or deny. However, I was told by "Pete" that the current decor results from the building being converted from a steakhouse. I went with some buddies in the middle of the afternoon because we were driving through and couldn't resist. The girls were great. They were attractive, really nice, clean, and didn't push too much for a private show. They seemed to have a lot of fun with dancing and would try to show off their pole skills and one girl even hula hooped. These girls may have been an anomaly as they told us they lived in Phoenix and only stripped here on random weekends, so the regular girls may not meet this standard. Interesting crowd during the day as it seemed most were just guys driving through town. Overall it was a different experience. Not exactly arousing, but rather more interesting and entertaining. read more

This placeis a goof.We stop ther on the way up to the cabin in Heber when we do our annual ATV trip in the winter months. Its all we talk about for weeks before the trip. Now dont get me wrong,we live in Phoenix and hac access to many clubs but Petes is a novelty. I've been to Pete's Place several times and think it's great. It's kind of deceiving judging only from the outside, but step inside and you'll see that the place actually has a nice atmosphere, even a harley davidson inside. The girls are very friendly and cuter than what I honestly expected. Not your stereotypical Phoenix club for sure, but very fun!!!!! read more
