I pick the car up and I get told all 4 of my brakes need to be changed as they are "metal to metal all around". i knew that was not true because no way did all 4 pads go bad on the car after having brakes done all around less than 5K miles prior. fast forward to having a different mechanic look at it and one corner was bad due to a stuck caliper. all other pads were just about brand new. would recommend for tires but be very cautious of being upsold a service you don't need

I dropped my car off to get my winter tires put on, oil change & wheel alignment.... It was at 11:00 am... waited for a call like usual never got one..they close at 4:00 pm.. 3:30 I called only to be told I was called many times.. I asked him what number.. he claimed he was given the wrong cell number..Being a 10 year customer I know my information is in the system.. when questioned about that I was told they upgraded to a new system 2 years ago.. my response was I'd taken both of my cars there within that time frame.. So lies!! After all that I was presented with a 300.00 plus bill due to a stud breaking off allegedly.. I thought if you broke an item during a service you should have to fix it.. not add another 80.00 dollars to my bill. I will never set foot in this location again as the service is terrible.. I'll take my business to the Littleton location as I like VIP.. I just won't be treated like this by the folks in the Woodsville location!!!

We asked for a brake pad to be done, under the assumption that the pad was our issue. We were told 9 AM. The mechanic spent the whole day fighting on the phone with his GF and ended up leaving. We showed up at 3:30 expecting the pad to be done and were hit with a bill over $700. We were never consulted about anything else being done, and the owner firmly expressed that it was not his responsibility to inform of us what was being done. We were told it would be another 45 minutes roughly, so we waited, confused at what had just happened and going over the prices that didn't make sense alone in our other car. We waited until after 6 PM just to be given ANOTHER BILL over $200 for a hub assembly. This was done once again without consulting us while we were in the parking lot waiting! I knew we had been badly taken advantage of, so I also looked in to the prices further. I asked for prices to be printed for me directly from the same place the auto shop got them from. I found we were charged a 200% price inflation. When I brought up all my concerns of being taken advantage I was only rebuttaled by a screaming owner and his ignorant snobby entitled daughter. They claimed my husband "lied to me about what he asked to have done", claimed they had bills to pay, it was not their responsibility to inform us of the work being done, and yelled in my face. The daughter refused to remove herself after I asked her to let me talk to the owner alone, because she was trying to intimidate me in her tone of voice and glare. After I got sick and tired of being treated like a reprimanded CHILD, I decided it was best for me to just leave. I expressed my concern to a group of friends, only to be told many other horror stories of terrible business, personal inappropriate attacks, and money swindling other people experienced here. Do NOT ever under any circumstances bring your vehicle here for anything. You might just ask for brake pads and walk away $1000 poorer without your consent. Oh and PS. We also left with no brake fluid and no test drive was given either!

Please, if your reading this and looking for a great auto shop then GRS Auto is absolutely the place for you to go....the workers are great, the quality of service is undeniable with the unbeatable prices. We found G.R.S Auto service where Gary and Wayne took us right in and quickly found the problem. Once said and done with a more than fair bill, we were on our way to our destination. Service like this is hard to find these days. We were at a disadvantage and could have easily been taken advantage of but not these guys. We were very fortunate to have had this happen when and where this did.

I got stranded and had to have it repaired by a Ford dealership so I could safely get home before the ice storm that was coming. The Ford dealership put in writing that the damage was consistent with Wells River Chevy Dealership's mistake, and I have all repair invoices, photos, and documentation. This dealership is refusing to take responsibility or reimburse me for their negligence. I am lucky I was not seriously injured due to their mistake. They have left me with no other option than to pursue legal recourse. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.

They have given me multiple reasons to why they won't. All of them involved me purposely sabotaging my truck. That was over four months ago. My truck is still locked in one of their bays. I don't have $9100 dollars to fix it because I'm still making my monthly payments on the truck. I am currently working with a lawyer but I don't see an end in site. I am now being threatened with legal recourse because if my post regarding this issue. In my opinion it's just another example of big business steam rolling over the little guy because let's face it. They have all the money There is a lot more of this story I haven't posted. I feel as though the sales people are actually very honest and helpful. However it's my opinion that if you need any service or repairs your better off driving an extra hour or two. I have one star only because I apparently have to give one.
