The locals are not sure why the name is Dead chicken alley but we did some research and found out this used to be a chicken slaughterhouse back during the Holocaust. Cafe Cinema is one of the bars in the alley and it was definitely the best one there! There are long tables so you just share the tables with other people and that makes it such a chill way to meet new people and learn about new cultures! Their drinks are amazing, but you have to watch out for the bartenders because they tend to change the price after each drink Other than that, the service was amazing, the bathroom lady was super nice (you have to pay .50 cents to use the toilet) and I highly recommend it if you're ever in Berlin.

There is a portion of the berlin wall up there that is beautiful. the maps outline the city nicely however the DB building is in the way of the best view of the city. There are iron bars that go all the way around and don't really give you a good view of the city. I thought there would be a viewing deck with glass or plexiglass wall to see the city but there was not. We stopped in for a coffee and snack before we left but after standing at the bar for a few minutes we were not served and we left. I liked that it was self guided (no limits on time or space). If you have the money it's worth the few pictures. We went back the next morning after we were turned away and there was a thick fog over the city.
