I came across this place a few months ago, sort of by mistake. But I was amazed at the amount of amenities inside. I was on my way to Birmingham to spend the weekend, but realized I was passing by here so I pulled back in! I had BK for breakfast this morning, but for supper last night I walked across the street to the barbecue joint. One of the best I've been to! The truck parking is huge, it never gets full. All the people inside are super nice and hospitable, just what you would expect in the south! The showers are huge, and they have Smart mirrors with Android platform, and a rain simulator shower head. Oh and laundry facilities which I am utilizing right now. They even have a dog wash hahaha Pretty good size gift shop, pretty good size food court, everything you would need. Restrooms not clean and neither Burger King or Popeyes choices were staffed to take orders at 1pm.

The Petro station itself is nice and clean. The Popeyes chicken employees left us frustrated and disappointed. We went in to grab a quick bite and get back on the road. There were three employees just standing around complaining about one of the cooks calling in. We ordered one 5pc chicken strip dinner. We were the only customers. We sold there while the other cook finished eating. Then she pit the strips down to fry. We waited 30 minutes!!!. While they continued to complaining the line got bigger. People were waiting and frustrated. They girls were very rude and inconsiderate. Never again....​ read more

Awesome store. So super clean. Staff very friendly. One employee came up and talked to us and he was so nice. We had the dunkin donuts, yummy. And some burger king which had our ​order ready before we finished paying. Lots of neat gifts items to look at and all types of truck accessories. I could've stand a lot longer, but gotta get to the beach!! read more

Stopped for gas, bathroom and food on a road trip. I didn't expect this but it was by far the worst stop we have made and I've had to stop in some sketchy gas stations with my kids. The women's bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Garbages were overflowing- 2 of the stalls didn't have toilet paper- ours did but we had to avoid stepping on used period products and whatever else was in that pile I focused on not letting my daughter touch. One of the soap dispensers had soap at least so we could wash our hands. And there were paper towels-just again overflowing garbage can for the waste. The store area was a bit messy, but the same level of messy any clothing place would be. The selection was awesome- cute gifts, tons of snacks, drinks, but we opted to order from The restaurants. Big mistake. The food court area was as dirty as the bathrooms. Dunkin was staffed and polite even! Papa John's at least had pizza though it took awhile to get someone there. Burger King - I tried to order nuggets and got a curt" we are out" reply so I just ordered the fries one daughter wanted. If this place was saving its friendliest employee for the register- I'd hate to be there with any of the other staff. I eventually got my fries plopped down in front of me, after watching her struggle with peopling other customers who bravely ordered food. The good news is there were janitorial staff working in the cafe area. I wouldn't call it efficient work and dumping the cleaning product on the floor in the one entryway seems a bit off to me, but I was just glad something was being cleaned. I'm guessing that this place could not handle the extra customers in spring break travelers but sheesh. read more

We stopped in here for some gasoline use the restroom get some snacks for the road because we went on a big old road trip. This is a nice clean establishment on the inside at a lot of things you can buy restrooms were in good shape can't complain read more

The fuel, restrooms, front register all that is great and the employees rock. But the food court? Been in dozens of times and never had a single good experience. I will never spend another dime on food in this place again. The Popeyes was recently shut down and they said it was getting new management and I was so excited because I had been through here before during travels and it sucked, now I live here and I was happy to have a good chicken place...nope it's worse now than it was before. Nothin but terrible experiences at Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, papa John's, now tonight I tried to give it another shot and get my wife a milk shake from Baskin-Robbins. Nope, walked out empty handed. Now these are all (with the exception of Burger King) pretty reputable businesses when it comes to customer service so it begs the question if problem isn't with whoever is managing the truck stop...why are they always short handed? This is a truck stop why is the food court not open 24/7? Idk who owns this petro but if y'all are looking for a new general manager I'm accepting job offers. read more

Nice, clean restrooms. Choice of eateries: Dunkin Donuts (thumbs down - bad service, never waited on us 3/11/22); Burger King, Iron Skillet (great variety, breakfast); Pappa Johns. Storefront has great merch, refreshments, very, very nice truck stop. read more

One of the best convience store/gas stations I've ever been to at the Dodge City Jasper exit off I-65 before going to a lake house right at Smith Lake which is Southwest of Cullman that we used to visit and spend the night at for many years and I recommend it! read more

I'm not a trucker but this place is immaculate. It's fun and huge. You can find everything here. On our way back from our short and sweet trip to Nashville my sister made us stop at this truck stop in Hanceville. She always talks about this place & how it's the biggest truck stop in the south. I always make fun of her. Y'all I feel bad for giving her a hard time, this place is freakin amazing! It's so much fun. There's a Popeyes, Dunkin, Burger King, Papa Johns, Baskin Robbins and some local homemade food inside. Inside you'll also find all the convenience store stuff times a hundred with mango and kiwi slurpees, plus super cute gift shop stuff. It's equipped with a fitness center, laundry machines, leather couches, TVs, a pool table, super clean restrooms, showers (they looked clean but yeah I don't know about using them lol). They have boiled peanuts and this thing called a Bladder Buster it's a gallon size cup and you pay once and can refill for $2 every time you come back! I did not buy it nor do I recommend anyone else do either lol. I actually didn't buy a damn thing but I had a great time looking through it all. They really should rename this place The Modern Alabama Museum. read more

This place has everything- literally. Gas, food, gift shop. They have a small food court with plenty of choices. Homemade candy and souvenirs. Great place to stop on long trip. One of the biggest truck stops around. Not just for truckers. Family oriented. read more

Don't bother. Big place lots of places to eat but Pappa Johns had pizza in the case but no one to sale it to you. BK and Popeyes was not busy but the staff was slow. Got tired of waiting so went across the street to BK. The diesel price was outrageous compared to across the Interstate and 1 exit North. Bathroom was clean. read more
