However the groomer apparently had other plans and decided to buzz him to 1/8 inch in length then said "I hope thats okay." after we SPECIFICALLY told her not to. She also trimmed the hair on his face and made it terribly choppy and lopsided as well as trimmed his whiskers right off. Out of all the incompetent, unqualified staff i have seen anywhere this is absolutely the worst. Paying for a $60 trim, and not getting what we asked for is unacceptable. We did not tip and probably should not have payed either. We will not be going here any more and will be strongly advising every pet owner we know NOT to go here. Terrible, awful service.

Now, although I have tried several of the groomers, cannot get my shih tzu groomed to my liking. I want him short all over including the face, but not his tail. He will be 17 years old in 3 weeks and is very laid back. The problem is that he has warts on his body that require care to avoid them when shaving him! Apparently there is no one there who can manage to do the job as they have decided he can no longer go there to be groomed! I am a recently widowed senior and now I have to put him through the stress of finding a new groomer who is not afraid to spend a little more time on his haircut! We played soccer with her dog when we were in high school. She had cats during her undergraduate years. These days, she has two wonderful dogs and a cat as pets. She lived in Toronto after we both graduated from high school. She took a job as a dog walker, which has honed her skills and given her the confidence to start her own dog-walking company. Through sleet, wind gusts, downpours, and freezing rain, she would be out there walking dogs from various clients, making sure that they were all okay under the ever-changing weather conditions. It is an understatement to say that Diana adores animals. While working full-time after graduating from university, she took courses in Animal Care at Georgian College. She continued working in the veterinarian sector before moving to Peterborough to start Paws and Smell the Flowers. I have seen her treat her clients' pets as if they were her own. Dogs and cats are comfortable being in her care. She makes sure that both the pet owner and pets themselves are comfortable with her before going ahead with the agreed-upon service. Back in December 2016, I got my pet betta. I brought my new pet into the restaurant where we were having dinner, as it was too cold to leave him in my car. Diana fish-sat Bubbles the whole time, as she was sitting on the bench side of our table. It was sweet and shows how compassionate she is. It also demonstrates how easily she bonds to any pet, including mine. I would highly recommend Diana for all your dog-walking and cat-sitting needs, and more.
