I said I did not owe and I had straightened it out and she kept on and then told me to get another vet and slammed the phone up in my ear. I have yet in 3 days to get to talk to the owners and I had gone there for years. I am unrecommending them to all the people I sent there.

I called them and they told to bring her right in. From the moment we got there the staff was very nice and supportive. The Dr's are very knowledgeable and caring. We all had a ruff week, but in the end she is doing amazing and is bouncing around and playing like she is still a puppy and not a senior. I feel that if it weren't for the extra steps they were willing to do for my pup, she would not be here with me today. I am very thankful for them and will take all my animals to them. Today our family experienced one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face. Our dog Reese was…read morecritically ill and suffering, and we came to Colonial Park Veterinary Clinic for help. We arrived at 12:30 pm during posted business hours (they were open until 4 pm). There were only two people in the waiting room. I explained that Reese was suffering and that this was urgent. I also clarified that while Reese herself was a new patient, I was not a new client and have spent thousands of dollars at this clinic over the years. Despite this, we were turned away. When families walk into a veterinary clinic with a suffering pet, they are already in distress and hoping for compassion and help. Being turned away in that moment was heartbreaking. Thankfully another veterinarian stepped in immediately and did everything possible to try to save Reese. We will always be grateful for the compassion that was shown to our family there. I hope the clinic reflects on how situations like this are handled in the future. Pets are family members, and moments like these are when compassion matters most. Compassion should never depend on whether a pet is already in your system.

I've had a great experience with them and the staff is very friendly…read more Dr. Wade has helped my elderly dog in ways no other vet has, and truly seems to listen when you express concerns. I did call once and was denied an appointment, but that was because the young lady failed to realize I was an existing customer. Once she did, she apologized profusely. Just be mindful that in WF you must have established care in order to be seen by a vet, apparently even in emergencies. With that said, I'm so glad this place was recommended to me and plan to stay with them for as long as we're stationed here. For those living on base (we don't) this is incredibly convenient in terms of location, too.

Our dog Lucky was boarded at A Caring Heart Veterinary Hospital from May 22 2026 until the morning…read moreof May 26 2026. When my wife picked him up a staff member told her that the leash Lucky was wearing when we dropped him off was not removed the entire time he was in their care. How can a dog urinate and have bowel movements while dragging a leash. Sounds like the care was substandard to me. Lucky has been sick since he returned home and tomorrow will be going to the Vet at a different facility for diagnosis and treatment. This is not the first time he has come home sick after staying at A Caring Heart Veterinary Hospital. In 2019 he contracted Parvo Virus. Dr Wade has been our animals Vet over the years. He has done good things for them. I just cannot understand why a staff member would have told my wife his leash was never taken off. I am sure beyond a reasonable doubt they will Deny this treatment.

Other vets seemed annoyed by my questions or tried to up-sell stuff... I really don't appreciate trying to be sold veterinary services. I made my cat an appointment (they were able to get her in the same week) and did some research on the declaw... I was skeptical because I knew they don't do laser here. I called back, asked them why and if there would be more risk. The doctor actually got on the phone and explained everything to me! I felt 100 times better! So I took her to her appointment and she ended up already being spayed so they did just the declaw. It has been about a week and a half,she is doing wonderful and they did a great job! I really appreciate their honesty. Very nice little vet!

So I think you can pretty much bring anything here. The only drawback is the hours, but the care my 4-legged kids get makes it worth it.

No ridiculous "just to be safe" tests, etc., she quickly diagnosed and sent me on my way with just the exam fee, not even a charge for the meds. Ariel was the very best little pet friend I have ever had. She loved us all so much and we treated her like family. She somehow came down with sudden paralysis late last night, then passed away in my daughter's arms on the way to the 2nd Vet, since the first one REFUSED to see her without a deposit first. I live 1/2 mile away and asked if I could go get payment first HOWEVER Dr. Julie Gibson at Western Hills Animal Hospital said they would need a deposit before any treatment would start. Ariel DIED an hour later. @Julie Gibson has NO COMPASSION because quote, "I run a business here and I can't get burned.' REALLY COMFORTING WORDS FOR MY 11 YEAR GIRL DOC!!!
