This girl--who hates getting wet and dryer sounds and who gets stressed around new people--acts like we arrived at the dog park when we roll up to Elgin Grooming & Boarding. She loves them, and she looks and smells fantastic when I get her back. A note on scheduling to wrap this up: I can usually get an appointment within a week, maybe 2 weeks if it's busy, excluding major holidays. But I recognize that fitting my short-haired pit mix into the schedule for a bath & groom is probably easier than a different breed of dog that requires more grooming time.
