He is a very thoughtful, friendly and caring man and honestly I have not met many nicer and more professional. I got to know him a little bit and liked him a lot. He handled both the staining and the paining of the wood on our project. He coordinated closely with John of TriPoint (another fine company) and managed to schedule his team to come after the structure was built but before EZbreeze windows were installed and his crew were extremely neat and professional. They use plastic and tape and cover everything to prevent and splashing or unintentional dripping. They use the finest materials and take pride in their work. They leave zero mess! They even worked without shoes near the end to avoid scuffs on the freshly stained deck. These pictures speak for themselves, I think. After the project was done I noticed a few minor issues (3 months later) and he came back with more of his team and took care of everything without any problem and again displayed the same work ethic and neatness. This is what separates him from others in my opinion. So reliable and accountable for his work. When I pressure wash and paint my house next, it will be him. I highly recommend Liz Evelin Painting.

The popcorn removal was thorough and really demonstrated why it takes time and $ to do well. The painting team took over after and did multiple coats using paint I provided. They let the paint dry naturally in between coats. In both cases the teams were prompt and cleaned up thoroughly. I was hesitant initially due to a review I saw, but I spoke with Jason and he talked me through it and how he would handle the work on my home - I am glad I did go with him, and I will definitely call him when it's time to paint the exterior.

We trusted his team to complete a large job on our new home purchase - remove popcorn ceilings, patch holes, and paint the interior of our new 3400 sq ft house - and our house looks worse than it did before they touched it. We have spent the last 3 months cleaning up their mess, including hiring different contractors to do the job we hired them to do. A list of issues we've experienced: * Peeling paint, caused by using a heat gun and not letting the paint dry properly * Scratched and dented several pieces of original wood trim * Carelessly painted our fireplace, light fixtures and original wood trim * Left obvious patch jobs * Sanded spots but didn't paint * Caulked areas we asked not to caulk to mask a bad paint job * Did not fix most of the blue taped items we marked off during our final walkthrough * Left the house covered in dust and paint splatter. Thankfully we did not live in the house at the time as we wouldn't have been able to move back into it in this condition. Jason did give us a partial refund (25%) but after spending $18,000 on a job, I am so disappointed and disheartened to see it left in this condition. His team did not have an eye for detail and did not care for our home like we expected them to.

David deftly solved a major logistical challenge (getting product down a steep hill with no vehicle access) and had great ideas not only for wall design and erosion control but enhanced functionality elsewhere on the lot. Project manager Terry was very responsive. The crew was highly skilled, with excellent attention to detail; I couldn't have asked for better.
