This is a very adorable tourist shop. They have everything and more. From locally made soaps and…read morefudge to moccasins, semi-precious stones, books, toys, a little something for everyone. There is only one negative I have found after almost a year of visiting this shop: the staff seem to dislike the customers. There is never a smile or a hello. They seem like they'd prefer to be a million miles away than working there. The last time I went, I asked for the staff to get me something from the showcase, I apologized for making her stop what she was doing to get it and she gave me the death glare. Another person noticed and mentioned it to me. I wish I could give it 5 stars but I think management has to improve to have happy workers.

That sweet tie dye dress in the window? MINE! There was also a super cool leather woven bag in the window, too. Maybe next time. Melinda (I hope I got her name right?) the owner is dripping with style and great taste. She looks like a fashion designer. Good news: you too can look like Melinda, because her racks are filled with tons of dresses, tops, pants and skirts...natural fabrics and so pretty. She also has eye wear...like REALLY COOL eye wear. Awesome home wares, too. And I bought a super special candle that will always bring me back to Hudson when I light it. Smells like fancy pine. Also! Everything in there feels fancy, but it's affordable. Looking forward to seeing what she has for me next time.

He even made recommendations for some activities to try and things to check out. We greatly appreciated this personal touch. He had some very nicely designed Woodstock apparel for sale in the back, ranging between T-shirts, hats, hoodies, and other themed items. The Christmas ornament selection was an awesome touch, and we naturally needed to opt for the glass Woodstock VW bus ornament. At the counter, fresh fudge is also sold. This seemed to be incredibly popular, and people waited for quite a while to purchase it, so it must be good! There were countless flavors available, and all of them sounded very good. The shop is clean, well-kept, and the staff are wonderful. Overall, a great stop if you're in the market for gifts for loved ones or anything else I mention above.
