They completely ruined my Parti Mini-schnauzer's hair. I have been brushing my schnauzer's hair to keep it knot free, so that he would have a nice skirt and legs when I got him groomed. I asked for him to have a standard schnauzer cut. This is what I got. It will take months to grow his hair back. The only explanation they kept saying was there was a communication error. They hurt my dog while being groomed, he's was bleeding and they denied everything and the owner called me while I was at work to pick him up immediately, which I did and they tried to say that he bit the groomer, but they don't have cameras in their grooming rooms- and they wouldn't give him a haircut,! I booked him elsewhere and they didn't have any problems with him! And the owner said we weren't allowed to come back, she told me to take him to a place where they can sedate him! This is a small dog and he's a rescue.. found out he's a pure100% Maltese weighing in at 14 pounds!! I would suggest to never use them!! And they still charged me!!! read more

I've been using these guys since I moved to the Duncan area to clip my dog's nails however on my arrival yesterday I was informed I increase their prices on nail clipping by $5 it's really a shame because now that puts them up there with the big box stores and as much as I try to shop only locally owned and operated businesses looks like I'll be going to The Big Box store because I can get nails done there for the same price pick up my dog food flea medication and everything else a 100% increase it's a little ridiculous sorry guys read more

Its a miracle!!!!! The same dog that you couldn't handle and hurt yesterday went to another groomer today and had ZERO issues. I think you need to review the camera footage and make sure your employee didn't hurt our dog. If you don't have cameras then you need to get them because the groomer he went to today noticed that he had been cut on the buttocks by clippers!!!! Don't take your pets here!!! read more

This business does a wonderful job with grooming our dog. However, I'm lowering this review because of the complete lack of regard for any COVID-19 precautions. Nobody in the entire building wears a mask, not even in the greeting/reception area. I'm fine with them not wearing masks in the back and totally get that. But the forward facing staff should 100% be wearing masks and social distancing as best as humanly Possible. read more

We have had a very pleasant experience grooming our Yorkie here on multiple occasions. We had a horrifying encounter at a grooming salon in Inman in the past and this was a breath of fresh air. The staff is very friendly, professional and patient with small, timid dogs. Thank you! read more

I've been going to Peytons Place for years. Kim and her crew do a fantastic job grooming my dogs at a reasonable price.

Called for an appointment, told lady I had a 13 week old mini schnauzer that wanted a schnauzer cut and she had a couple of mats on her little legs and asked for price was quoted 35.00, so I have her there at 8:45 at 1:00 got a call she was ready! Got there, they had trimmed her feet, her little butt and a little on her face!! Told me it would be 10.00 more because of the mats!! So 45. For trim feet, butt and face, no cut whatsoever, she then tells me they don't groom puppies, why didn't you say that when I made the appointment, did you even bathe her? She was sprayed with a horrible spray that stunk so bad!! Everyone at my campground is being told not to take there dog there!! It's not about the money, it's about not grooming my puppy and not telling me you don't groom puppies!! Not professional at all!!!! read more

Awful! Literally terrible!! We dropped our dog off to be groomed exactly as he was the first time we came here. ((We visited Peyton's Place "A grooming salon" for the first time on November 2, 2020 after being highly recommended by someone. Our dog which is a Great Pyrenees was groomed by Lexi and he was absolutely stunning when we picked him up. He had zero matts, was perfectly white, shaved in areas that needed it, and was perfectly fine afterwards. However when we visited for the second time this experience was by far the worst and totally different than the first!)) He was no worse or any different than he was the first time. So we expected the same outcome. But no! We dropped our dog off on May 8th 2021 to be groomed, de-matted, a bath, and his nails trimmed. When we picked him up he was still matted everywhere. So we had to continue to try to get those out ourselves at home. We had to re-bathe him also. After paying $300! THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS! He also came home with soap being left on him. Which caused an infection and as dogs do he licked it a bunch trying to help himself heal and caused severe matting that we had to shave out ourselves and are now going to seek treatment for the infection that they caused by leaving soap on him. I tried for days to contact the salon and owner Kim by phone, and no one would pick up or call me back. So I decided to go up there on Thursday May 13th and spoke with the owner Kim at first with no other customers or employees around. It was going fine and we were discussing everything until the lady that had groomed my dog (Madallya) [I'm assuming is how it's spelled since the owner refused to spell it for me] came out from the back and began to raise her voice and yell at me and become hostile with me. I then became upset and just requested to have my money ($300!!!) Refunded. The owner said that she would give me $100. But that was all. So she obviously knew that her employee and salon were at fault or she wouldn't have offered me any refund. I clearly wanted all or at least $200 back but she refused. So I accepted that I would take the $100 and be on my way. She of course said she didn't have the money at that moment so I would have to come back the next morning. So I left. I was barely pulling out of the parking lot when she called me and said that she changed her mind and thought that I didn't deserve any money back because of the way I 'acted' in front of another customer (who had walked in the salon as her employee was yelling at me and being hostile with me) and she argued with me on the phone and then eventually hung up on me. I waited a couple minutes and called back and said I needed to confirm whether or not I would be getting a refund the next morning. And she then told me she would give me the $100. So it was very back and forth with her and she I guess assumed I would just give it up. I returned Friday morning May 14th to collect my $100 and immediately when I walked in the door the owner had an attitude with me and threw a piece of paper down that we had signed when we dropped our dog off the first time for me to read. And this paper had absolutely nothing to do with the issues at hand. I said okay, and that I would take a copy. She then threw another paper down at me for me to sign in order to be able to even get my $100 refund. And the paper was stating incorrect information about the issue and I told her this and that I couldn't sign it. She snatched it away as I was taking a picture of it and said I couldn't have the refund then. At this point I'm annoyed and just literally want my money back so I sign the paper and receive my $100. I then ask her for the name of the employee to be written down and she refused and learned that I was going to report her and write bad reviews and inform people not to come here and she became hostile and threatened to report me for animal neglect. So I left the business and as I was leaving she had the audacity to take pictures of me, my baby, and my vehicle! The amount of unprofessionalism and lack of respect this owner has for her business is mind blowing. We will never return here and neither should you! I will continue to report this business and owner and continue to not recommend this place and also write bad reviews EVERYWHERE that is available. You do not treat customers like this! read more
