Wanted to love dog culture and have a place to take my girls so they could play and socialize. I dropped them off for a behavioral assessment the first time and my pit mix failed, as she has an aggressive play style. We have been working for months to teach her to play better with all dogs and have socialized her a lot more since then. I brought both of them back for another assessment, explained to them they need a little time to acclimate to the new area and new dogs. Within NINE MINUTES, they called me to come pick her up and said she failed again. There was absolutely no effort on their part to try to give her a chance and acclimate and no knowledge of how dogs interact. If they had given her at least 30 minutes even, I would have been ok with the outcome but 9 minutes isn't enough to tell anything about a dog or their behavior in a new environment. It seemed as though they had a problem with her being a pitbull and saw her as a threat. I also watched the live cam at their Greenville location and they are completely overcrowded with way too many dogs in each bay. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

We love Happy Pup! Our pups have stayed there twice -- once for 10 days and another time for 6…read moredays. Lisa, one of the owners, is great at communicating both before and during our pups' stay. She's also great at meeting my husband and I and asking if we need help the moment we arrive. The indoor/outdoor shelter where our pups stay protects them from the elements and provides each of them with their own individual space. They are also given a long walk daily and provided a large area to play together. Every day, they are fed and given their medicine as prescribed. Our pups receive lots of attention and are happy to stay. Next time we need dog boarding services, we will return to Happy Pup.

He always checks whether she will do ok with other dogs. He would give her a private place if she ever needs to be alone. I don't need to worry about her getting her medicine, either. We recently moved to Florida and miss Gary deeply. He was such an important part of our lives while we were living in Greenville! I found him from a simple Google search and felt that he was our angel while we were in town. He always made time to take care of Blue, even when I reached out last minute. Gary would often send him home with presents, outfits, and other little treats. I never saw my dog as excited as when we were arriving in Gary's driveway! Over the two years we were in Greenville, our dog became more elderly and required significantly more care, including frequent medications. Gary never faltered or complained and took care of Blue like he was his own. He doted over our dog and they truly had the most special relationship. I would trust Gary with any and all of my babies, I wish he would have moved with us! We will always think of Gary and his love for Blue when we remember our time in Greenville.
