He came the very same day to look at my cabinets and explain their process of refinishing cabinets. He set up a date to come back and get my cabinet doors to take back to their shop. He and Chris showed up promptly on that day and worked quickly collecting my doors. He then set a date they would return to finish the kitchen. Finishing the project only took two days and I was very impressed how they were so careful in protecting my kitchen and home during the job. Cleaning up afterwards was minimal and I absolutely love my kitchen cabinets. Tom was very good about answering any questions I had during the process and was always quick to respond. I had picked a custom color for my cabinets and wanted a light glazing done in the corners outlining the cabinets. They turned out exactly like I wanted. I might add Tom and his wife welcomed their fourth son unexpectedly three weeks early during the process of my kitchen renovation but he kept right on schedule with my project. I had a job that very much needed done, with a very limited income, being a disabled veteran. I…read morelooked these folks up as I had heard good things about them. And when I met them, and spoke with them they was very pleasant. If we stopped right there I would have given them a four star rating just on their professional courtesy. However they severally overcharged me for a job that by my estimate would have been between the range of $1,000-2,000 give or take. The materials I needed we're only valued at $100-300 some, the labor now that I couldn't say. However it was a little job, not much needed done. By the end of the day they charged me $4,500!! During a time when money is tight, the economy is utter $h1t right now thanks to bad management. Those of us outside of the 1-10% income bracket do not have the disposable income to just throw it away like that. Then there was the job, I have to state the fellow they sent out was a nice guy, I actually liked the dude until I seen the work he did. One he didn't do everything we agreed on, then when he installed the items we needed he used damaged materials, measured it wrong, then just left it as is. At any rate, I had thought to dispute the cost as it was a gross overcharge, they basically fleeced me. Still to their credit they sent out another employee who did a fantastic job fixing the mistake of the last one. So in closing, I was going to give them a two star rating due to how they did me. But because they was kind enough to send someone out to fix it free of charge, and because of the quality of the work he did, they get three stars. Thank Dale Michaelson for that third star, he was an excellent worker.

The first time was over a year ago--they came to the rescue and fixed an issue that others couldn't. The second time, my home warranty company sent a contractor who tried to charge thousands for electrical work. Thankfully, I still had their card from the first job, so I called them again. Once more, they came through--doing the job right and within what the home warranty would actually cover. This is an honest company that does great work. The only downside is that they're hard to get a hold of and prioritize jobs based on urgency. But if you can get them to take your job--do it! Totally worth it. (But do me a favor and wait a bit--I've got more work for them: roofing, plumbing... I want to be first in line. )

Our issue is we have one bathroom, so work will need to be done in stages or very quickly. He arrived on time for the appointment but seemed rushed and on a tight schedule. He kept saying "it would be cheaper if you did this.." not faster, but cheaper. I had never discussed the budget with him and felt he implied I could not afford their services - not the case. I think the project might have been too small for them, I am not sure. In any case, after a week, I still had no estimate. I emailed them and still have no response two weeks later. I guess they just ghost you if they don't want the project.
