On August 31, I purchased four packs of GOOD NEWS - Day Off Peach gummies from Bloomery. When I got…read morehome, I noticed that all four packages had been re‑labeled on both the front and the back. The original labels underneath showed older dates, which strongly suggests these were expired products that someone tried to re‑date and resell. The pouches were also swollen and bloated, looking like they were ready to burst. With altered labels and packaging that looks unsafe, there's no way to know what I actually bought. I called Bloomery to report the issue. Their response was simply, "Bring them back next time you're here." I asked the manager to check the other packages on the pegboard to see if more were re‑labeled or re‑dated. He refused and repeated that I should just bring mine back whenever I return. That's not acceptable, and it made me feel like the issue wasn't being taken seriously at all. Because of that, I contacted Cresco Labs, the manufacturer. After a month of nothing but automated replies, it's clear they weren't interested in addressing the problem either. So I've escalated this to the CRA for review. Four unopened pouches with altered labeling, exactly as shown in my photo. Consumers deserve transparency, safe products, and accountability -- not expired items with replacement labels and dismissive responses.
