It would be in your best interest not to give LeShawn Russell or his business any further consideration moving forward. A few days ago, I had the opportunity to speak with him over the phone to arrange a meeting at my home at 2:30 PM. I was eager to see what he thought could be done after dealing with an eyesore for nearly four years.
I provided him with my home address, something I don't do for just anybody, and mentioned that I would do my best to be outside waiting for his arrival; you see, I'm physically disabled, and it's very difficult for me to get around at a normal speed anymore. I realize how valuable time is, so I didn't want to keep him waiting -- I guess he didn't realize my time is just as precious.
I waited outside at 2:20 PM -- 2:30 PM arrived, and before long, it was 3:10 PM, and he never once communicated that he was running behind, stuck in traffic, or anything else. I reached out to check if he was safe, but I was informed that, until further notice, we'll need to cancel due to his failure to show up. I thought surely he'd reach back out, but after two days, I realized he purposely blew me off.
I expressed my disappointment but wished him success. I then shared some advice my grandfather gave me long ago: "the only thing a man has in this world is his word. If you don't value your word, you've got nothing else worth valuing."
I also mentioned I was going to leave a negative review on NextDoor to inform other neighbors about my experience--or rather, the lack of one. He proceeded to block me in an effort to erase the truth--only one can never hide from it.
