Even though the plumber was wrong and the second visit ended up being unnecessary, they insisted we had to pay $337 for the visit. Part of this charge was for a a helper who was getting on-the-job training. After questioning this invoice, we were told the charges were valid, but they removed the charge for the trainee. They said the remaining $218 would stand. We paid, but noted that we still disagreed and would leave a review as such. At this point the owner started emailing us about how "they are not God" and that any experienced plumber could make the same mistake. Sure, we all make mistakes, but it's not normal to make your customer pay for them. They offered us a refund of $42 if we agreed to remove the reviews. We didn't accept that offer as we'd rather let other potential customers know about our experience.

Three weeks later one of the sink drains they worked on got a clog (this was a coincidence) and so we brought them back out and they cleared the clog plus recommended a small replacement to a p-trap which we also proceeded with. This service included a $65 charge (in addition to their labor cost) for them to use a drain auger. I thought this was a bit odd because it's s standard tool that every plumber has in their truck. 3 days after their work on the clogged drain the same sink backed up again. When I called them to have this remedied they basically said it wasn't their fault and there would be additional labor and an additional charge to use the auger. I declined to bring them back out and will explore other options in the future.

I had contacted the plumber as my LifeTime Rheem large capacity hot water tank does require some routine maintenance. As it turned out the connected expansion tank was filling with water and was improperly installed. The tech rectified all that within a tight time frame -- and of course throughly inspected the main tank, electronics, and electrodes. He also drained any sediment. While these are typical aspects with respect to the requested services, the manner performed was exhaustive, professional and everything was kept clean, dry and tidy. I had complete confidence as I looked on and observed complete respect for my property. In the course of the service call (which I was initially hesitant to initiate, just because, well, who bothers with maintenance?), it was also determined that my water pressure regulator valve was malfunctioning after a water pressure test was conducted early on. While replacement was relatively costly, it was perhaps critically necessary so that was why I'm thrilled. This was a throughly executed, friendly, and even thoughtful service(s) call. Brock and Easton were very professional and both courteous, respectful and patient with my elderly client and myself.
