During the initial assessment, Mike spent a good amount of time discussing options with us, and their pricing seemed fair and good value for the service. While the installation appeared to meet code requirements, immediately after the work completion we noticed that the "relief valve discharge pipe" was positioned directly above a drywall surface--creating an obvious risk should any discharge occur (picture attached). Despite my repeated and reasonable requests for clarification on liability and suggestions to reposition or extend the pipe to mitigate potential damage, I received dismissive replies. The company refused to adjust the work without charging additional fees. Even after I raised concerns about the risk of future property damage, they stated the matter was "closed" and asked me not to contact them again. I had hoped for a cooperative and safety-conscious resolution. Unfortunately, Impact Plumbing did not take ownership of the concern or prioritize customer satisfaction. I would caution other clients to be very clear up front and not assume post-installation support will be available. Thankfully, the flood immediately disappeared. Aaron was on time and efficient. I paid promptly and I gave his company a 5* review both times. At the end of the second job, I mentioned I had a flood at my remote BandB. Arron offered to sell me his wet/dry vac which he said he only used once and was still in the box. I picked it up at his house (still in the box; paid Aaron $219 plus tax) and drove it to my BandB. In mid-May, my manager asked why a vac that size (16 gallon Rigid NXT)) didn't have wheels- he found it cumbersome to drag it around our 3000 sq ft building. I looked at the vac and, while it was equipped to have wheels, no wheels were there. I checked Home Depot's website. The site shows its wheels attached and the retail price of $218, plus tax. I called Aaron to ask for the wheels. He said he had lost them. When I asked him why I wasn't informed before I bought it, he replied "It's your vacuum now, you've had it for five months." I know "Buyer be aware" applies to me and am aware of the length of time that has elapsed. But, still, I paid full retail for an incomplete, used vac and he knew it! I trusted the guy because we had a relationship and did not check the box contents or the price. And, I was not expecting to be treated in this fashion. In fact, I was deceived. Oh well, I guess money does speak louder than words with some folks.

Then he showed up at the house with a new tank. His son showed up a little while later to help. (Both of them are fully qualified plumbers and gas fitters). I had contacted the plumber as my LifeTime Rheem large capacity hot water tank does require some routine maintenance. As it turned out the connected expansion tank was filling with water and was improperly installed. The tech rectified all that within a tight time frame -- and of course throughly inspected the main tank, electronics, and electrodes. He also drained any sediment. While these are typical aspects with respect to the requested services, the manner performed was exhaustive, professional and everything was kept clean, dry and tidy. I had complete confidence as I looked on and observed complete respect for my property. In the course of the service call (which I was initially hesitant to initiate, just because, well, who bothers with maintenance?), it was also determined that my water pressure regulator valve was malfunctioning after a water pressure test was conducted early on. While replacement was relatively costly, it was perhaps critically necessary so that was why I'm thrilled. This was a throughly executed, friendly, and even thoughtful service(s) call.
