It rained on our wedding night which I thought wouldn't affect our plans too much.. especially since we hired a full service wedding planner to alleviate issues. Unfortunately, the entire night had issue after issue with zero rectification. I spent the night in tears due to all the mishaps. Her photos are unique and tell a story and she was so nice that people thought we had been friends for years. It was actually really funny that we had to explain to our guests that we met the day before, again and again, all night long. He responds to emails and phone calls quickly, and is professional and courteous. Personally, he is a very nice man, and it is clear that he takes a lot of pride in his work. I have also used Michel for corporate headshots, and he did a fantastic job with those as well. We used an outdoor location and Michel went to a lot of trouble to arrive at the shoot early and set everything up. If you need a photographer for any occasion, Michel is your guy! The pictures are amazing! Michel was friendly and worked very hard. It was extremely hot and he was running all over Sea Pines getting the pictures. My family, friends and I felt comfortable during the group photos. Michel provided a relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to take some really great pictures. If I had to do it again, there is one little thing I would change. Although I was aware of the time that Michel was leaving, I had no idea what time it was during the reception. So, when he told me it was time for him to go, I didn't have a chance to get a few more pictures in. I wish I had asked for a 20-30 minute warning so that I could make sure I had photos with specific people. However, the pictures that Michel did get were wonderful. A week before the wedding, Michel arranged a bridal shoot in Charleston. The weather was not cooperating with us, but Michel was determined to get it done. I was impressed with his diligence. In the end, after changing locations, but eventually ending at our original spot, we successfully completed the bridal shoot. We had a good time, and you cannot tell at all that the weather was dull and overcast. The pictures are beautiful! We are very happy with our experience with Michel, and we would not hesitate to use King Street Photos again in the future.
