Ladies, please do your homework on Breast Implant Illness (BII). I was never told that implants should be replaced every 10 years. I was never told to get ultrasounds instead of standard mammograms. And I was definitely never told that implants are not FDA approved. In fact in 2011 at 48yrs old I was told no problems with implants all problems were resolved they were safe! No need to replace I'd be dead before I needed replacement. I developed capsular contracture soon after my first surgery and had to undergo a second surgery less than a year later -- to remove and replace the same implants. I should've stopped right then. My body was warning me. Fast forward: 14 years of unexplained illness, countless doctor visits, and hundreds of thousands of dollars later... I'm finally implant-free (had a grade 3 contracture before Explanting) and focused on detoxing and healing. Ladies! Please research Breast Implant Illness (BII). I would not recommend going to this doctor for plastic surgery. I got a tummy tuck. The scar he left from hip to hip is at least 2 inches higher than my C-section scar was. He did not liposuction at all under the incision so I am still left with a lump of fat under it. He was agitated that he had to fix one side where he left what is called a dog ear. It has been fixed but still does not look good. It is lumpy and lopsided. The transition from where he did liposuction to no liposuction is bad and obvious. He left very significant love handles. Never even discussed with me options on a more in-depth procedure to make it look better. When he fixed the dog ear I had to fight to also get him to fix a 1 inch deep pocket that he left which was my belly button. My index finger could fit into it up to my first knuckle. And he fought me on fixing it and gave me total attitude. Literally argued with me and tried to tell me he couldn't fix it. Really? Plastic surgeons rebuild faces and you can't fix this? He finally did, but with great attitude. Find someone who wants to deal with you as a whole person and listen to your concerns and make things right. It's not this guy. read more

I had a tummy tuck from Dr. Sonderman in 2000. I was very thin and had a lot of excess skin from childbirth that just hung there. I was 30 years old and hated wearing swimsuits or anything that would show my stomach. It made me very depressed. OMG!!! He did an amazing job!!! My abs were split 7 cm so he sewed them together. Probably the most painful experience I've ever had but would do it OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Fast forward to 2018. I am STILL so happy with the results!! Things were fine until there were complications. Seemed like he forgot to be a "MD". Put on the wrong antibiotic twice after having to convince him to take a culture. I feel I was talked down to and not treated with respect when I felt that I was not ready to go back to work full time. After finding out I was on the incorrect antibiotics, I was livid. I went through an additional surgery that may not have been needed if I was put on the correct meds from the start. Please check your ego at the door and listen to your patient sir. read more
