I'd give Dr. Hildebrandt 10 stars if I could...my husband and I have both been coming here for…read moreyears and it's the only place I would consider for extractions. It's a beautiful office, with a friendly staff, comfortable and clean. All procedures are explained, all questions are answered and Dr. Hildebrandt makes certain that I am fully numb before pulling my tooth. I have full trust in him and just had a tooth pulled last week...it took all of 10 seconds (yes, 10 seconds) to pull it out after I was totally numb. He's the best!!!

They don't care. They set up a virtual consultation and never called. When i called them they…read moresaid I had the date wrong and that they had called. My phone shows no record of it. We set up a new time and they again didn't call but I called them a minute after no one answers called 3 minutes after and left a message. Never heard back. Called them a day later (today) and again they said they called at the scheduled time and left a message. They did not! No apology or anything. I've checked missed calls and voicemail and there is no record. Checked the number and it's correct. 3 of my 4 daughters had their wisdom teeth done here so I was confident that this was a great choice. But after dealing with the blame game on 2 different occasions we will go somewhere else. Very disappointed and now I've wasted a month while my daughter suffers with mouth pain.

I have to give this practice 5 stars. I am not too sure what one could want more from an oral…read moresurgeon. I got surgery for 3 wisdom teeth and was very pleased not only by the staff's professionalism but the un-matched customer service I received. My surgery was in the morning and by end of business day Dr. Kunkel himself called my mobile to check up on me. Not his nurse, not his receptionist. He called personally, I thought that was a nice touch. They sent me home with a tiny ice pack (nor super practical but very appreciated nonetheless), clear concise instructions on after care and the tools I needed to take care of my post op. The pain meds I received were really not strong enough to eliminate my pain, nor did I have enough. But since I had an adverse reaction to the opioids it really did not matter much to me...I actually stop taking them quite early in the healing process. I think this may be a negative for some, if they think they'll get massive amount of maximum strength opioids. But I actually think this is a positive, as it tells me they are careful with dosage and amounts of opioids prescribed here. I think many docs in the past have been too loose with opioids prescriptions which in turn contributed greatly to the current epidemic. Three days after surgery I received a get well card in the mail signed by the entire team. I have to say that was so nice. I have unfortunately been seeing a lot of dental practitioners in the past 2 years and this was quite a novelty. Again, nice touch. A week post surgery I went in for my checkup. After 15 minutes one of the nurses came out to let us know that the current surgery had incurred in some complications so Dr. Kunkel was now running a full 30 minutes behind schedule. She apologized and left. The receptionist asked some patients if they preferred to reschedule all together, leave and come back in about 30 minutes or so or if they preferred to wait. Most preferred to wait since they did not have anywhere close by to go. I did not have the option either. I just settled in for the wait. Less than 5 minutes later she came out and gave each of us a Starbucks gift card. Her opening was: I understand that your time is just as precious as our time, and although surgeries are unpredictable and the wait could not be avoided, we'd like to give you this little token of our appreciation for your wait. I mean, when does that EVER happen? Anyways, like I said, top notch customer service. This place is what oral surgery clinicians should use as their guidelines for a successful practice.

Using X-rays taken by the dental assistants, Dr. Kunkel then used a robot to put in my implants....which I had never seen before. And I did not feel a thing. I have temporary crowns in right now and I'm so happy with them. I can't wait until I get my porcelain crowns! Thank you so much!

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here has been awful from start to finish. I was told I…read morewas getting a root canal, but apparently I never actually received one and only got a crown. I have been in severe pain for two weeks and have had to go back multiple times, only to be told there is "nothing they can do" and to take pain meds. Today I was suddenly referred to an endodontist because the pain has gotten so bad, yet no one even tried to adjust the bite before jumping to another appointment a week out. The quality of the dental work was unacceptable. The assistants did almost everything, including the crown work, and they clearly are not trained well. One of them cut my gums during the procedure and said "oops." I have photos of the damage (my gums, tongue, and even lip). During one visit I received five shots because they could not get the tooth numb. My teeth were not hurting before I came here, I NEVER had pain in my mouth and now? After going to them, I am dealing with constant pain and have to go in for a REAL root canal to undo the damage they did with my nerve in my tooth. They also pressure patients into leaving five star reviews by promising free teeth whitening for life. This practice does not focus on patient care, only money. There are far better dentists in Colorado Springs. I regret ever coming here and will not be returning or spending another dollar.

If I could give them zero stars, I would…read more I chose this place based on the impressive Google reviews; I really thought I'd love this place, but unfortunately, it was my worst experience ever. The office staff were nice but not very professional. The clinic charged a $75 consultation fee if you didn't cancel your appointment before 48 hours, which is acceptable, but did not inform me that the consultation scheduled with another doctor had been canceled. I was surprised upon arrival. I worked with Dr. Espinosa, who was very unwelcoming, ignorant, and rude, walking away after finishing the work without asking if I had any questions or concerns, without a word, explanation, or goodbye. (The things that made me feel that I was discriminated against as an Arab female immigrant with not too much English.) Dr. Kramer was much better than Dr. Espinosa. Also, please note that you can expect to work with assistants and hygienists more than the doctor. The luxury treatments they attempt to offer clients, like champagne and heated massage chairs, don't matter if faced with staff who won't listen to you, give you time, or make you feel comfortable and welcome during your treatment. There are many good dental clinics here in Springs where I had great experiences and that would offer much more.
