It was great to go in and meet a 93 year old World War II veteran and other veterans from past conflicts. I have read many stories of what it was like to be in combat back then but nothing beats hearing from those who were lucky enough to survive it but unlucky to experience the horrors. If you get a chance stop by any VFW an experience real living history.

The area where we had the class had high ceilings and plenty of room. The building seemed to be built well for a variety of arts related activities, which is great! The location is easy to find.

Cherry Hill Park is an RV park of sorts - but it has this banquet facility that is available for rent. Ballroom area, kitchen, bathrooms, side rooms for whatever - great facility! The one down side is that the building's cooling system is taxed when you get a whole lot of people inside carrying on - I had to step outside several times to cool off a bit.
