I learned a lot from the other parents at the first parent/principal meeting of the year. Since my boyfriend's son began attending here, I've noticed there have been A/C problems, shortages of bus drivers (meaning there have been doubled routes), and other slight inconsistencies that concern most parents... myself included. However, all of these concerns were addressed at the parent/principal meetings I have attended. Seems the parents who have children that attended there the previous years have been extremely dissatisfied with the previous principal and the lack of interest for any of the parents' concerns about the children fighting, electric problems and whatnot. Now that there is a new principal and she seems genuinely concerned with all these things, it seems the parents are a lot more satisfied with the way the school is now being run. There is still a bus driver shortage and the parking lot gravel is still horrible, but at the moment those issues are out of her control.

They hired an incompetent history and language arts teacher two weeks before school started and then fired him, calling him incompetent a few weeks before school ended and notified parents of such via email. Hence, my child's entire year was taught by an incompetent teacher. No refund! Their "Spanish" class is really Spanish arts class, don't think it's the Spanish language. They often asked and currently have mostly parents as teachers who give their children an advantage in grades. They falsely advertise after-school programs that do not exist and/or fall apart when school starts. I've had parents share with me their horrible discipline policy which they themselves do no follow. There are definitely strong allegations of racism in this school. They do not have strong Christian values; it's all pretend. You can see it in their eyes and fake smiles. Certified teachers do not stay long there. There is a high turn over of teachers because the working environment is hostile. They over charge in tuition and then ask parents to pay additional costs and volunteer for what the school should provide. They told us that they receive state funding that they really should not be receiving because they have not completed certifications and have barely made headway. This admission alone showed dishonesty. I could go on and on, but this is a brief summary from a parent of a former student. I would not send another child there.

No need for you all to lure parents in to visit your little house school with false promises and covert discriminatory behavior once they leave because they didnt pass your projecting manipulative test. If you dont like the look and skin colors of the intellectual parents you cannot manipulate, surely you couldn't genuinely care for their offspring. Be careful not to leave your children around people so miserable they refuse to provide or heat up food for a 17 month old enrolled at their "school" with a tuition. This is optional childcare before grade school and these are the type of people that make you want to keep your kid home schooled.

At 4 years of age my son's degree of concentration, ability to problem solve, love and understanding of nature and level of creativity are far beyond my expectations. I know with these skills he will have an outstanding foundation to grow from. My 1 year old is also greatly benefiting from this environment, at 15 months she has shown me how capable even a toddler can be. She feeds herself independently, can drink from a cup, is working on dressing herself, "helps" me with chores and takes great pride in showing me what she can do. The teachers or "guides" are all wonderful and truly care about your children. I strongly recommend this school to anyone.

I loved how management went out of their way to make sure the kids received the best loving care possible. They always made sure to go over and beyond state requirements. For example in a classroom where the state ratio is 1 teacher per 10 kids, at Bold Springs, there would be two teachers for 9 kids! This made the job so much more enjoyable. It gave me the freedom to take time out of my busy day to just love on the kids and attend to their individual needs. In addition, if teachers needed help for any reason at any time, management was always quick to fill the need. Sadly my situation required me to relocate. But I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for childcare in the Monroe Area.
