The Student Welcome Center will serve year-round as an on-campus first stop to introduce prospective new students and their families to Oregon State University. They did an incredible job! They constructed it so you every seat has a perfect view of the field. They have plenty of vendors to pick from and the great thing is they made it on the inside of the stadium so you can still watch the game and not worry about missing that big play; where as the University of Oregon you have to go outside the stadium to get the food. Reser Stadium had a great view of the largest video scoreboard of what was the Pac-12 Conference, not sure what is going to happen there. The capacity will now hold 35,548. Go Beavers!

I love Corvallis, as it feels much like the College neighborhood I moved from in Indianapolis, and it feels much more progressive than its surrounding areas. My mini & I made the trip from Salem and found side street parking a few blocks from the free event. It was overcast with drizzle in the forecast but that didn't deter us. Having arrived around lunch time, we decided to do a quick loop and hit the food trucks. There were several nice options to choose from benefitting the community. We landed on splitting a chicken quesadilla and a cheesesteak and both got flavored lemonades care of Benton County Democrats for Constitutions in High Schools. The area was set up with a hand washing station and plenty of picnic tables and trash cans. Afterwards we hit the many rows of vendors and were blown away by the diversity of quality art and hand made jewelry, crafts and foods. We especially enjoyed the 6 pack of variety baklava from Damascus treats and must've sampled 50 flavored balsamic vinegars and dipping oils from Mama Celia's Gourmet Foods before narrowing down our selection and taking home five. I have very little wall space left in my home, so I gravitated to the artist greeting cards and ended up with quite the collection. The snarky magnets from Tongue and Beak has us crying and will make nice gifts. We were unable to see everything in one day, but its was nice to know its a two day festival. I'll definitely plan to make this an annual event and allow myself more time next year!

She's the one who was being inappropriate and she nearly ruined my little siblings birthday present. That present being going to see the new Spider-Man movie. She needs to be fired. I really did like the food staff though. They were very friendly and the movie was a great time. So 2 stars. Minus the three because I'm still disgusted by such a display of behavior in public. Big girl to big girl where's the damn solidarity? Where's the support? Why am I not allowed to be confident in my body just because she isn't? I was wearing high waisted underwear that were in boyshorts style so it's almost impossible for them to show anything anyway. They were up around my belly button. My pants sat below it where my hips naturally sit. If I had been wearing lower waisted underwear all you would have seen was my stomach. Since when are crop tops not allowed in theaters? And it's not like I was sagging or anything either. My pants were where pants naturally sit on a lot of people. I wasn't exposing myself or anything. In fact it was tucking underwear so there was especially nothing to see. If she isn't fired or doesn't apologize next time we go we won't return. Why would we spend money where I feel that disrespected? I still had enough courtesy to give the extra star for the other staff and the overall experience but it can become one star so quick if that woman stays so entitled. Typically it's the customer who is a Karen but I think in this case she was entitled, annoying and very very white so that would make here a massive Karen. If she wants to have a personal conversation about it I would love to discuss her disgusting behavior. I was nothing but kind until she started botching about my fashion choices. And even then I sucked it up and bullied my pants up until I was inside where I immediately pulled them back down to my waist. If my shirt weren't cropped she wouldn't have seen my underwear. If my underwear weren't high waisted she would've seen my belly button. All I did was add another layer in between her and my belly button. Why was that even necessary? You couldn't see it anyway? Should I attend my local theater in my redneck town in a burka? I'm sure that will go over well too... She either needs to get here shit together immediately and understand that people my age dress far more provocative than I was and I don't think I was really provocative at all. If I were skinny would she have let me in like that? If my stomach didn't bulge like hers would she have treated me how she probably treats her own reflection? The photo attached is very close to what I was wearing accept I was wearing sweat pants and my crop top ran a little higher so you could see a sliver of skin above my stomach but below my breasts. I'm sure she's seen women in booty shorts. So how is what I was wearing inappropriate? Why should I be threatened to not have the tickets sold to me over it? Stay woke.

We were visiting Brownsville, OR, and my wife loves to collect magnets from everywhere we go. While…read moredriving through town, we noticed the Linn County Historical Museum was open and what immediately caught our attention were the actual train cars on either side of the building. Naturally, we parked and went inside. This place is packed with history. Founded in 1962, the museum is housed in Brownsville's original railroad depot and includes six Southern Pacific railcars. The exhibits do a great job telling the stories of the region's Native peoples, Oregon Trail emigrants, Black and white pioneer settlers, and the early families of Linn County. One of the highlights was learning that one of the boxcars has been converted into a 29-seat theater known as the Boxcar Theatre. Another fun surprise was how prominently Stand By Me is recognized throughout the museum and the surrounding area. Many scenes from the movie were filmed nearby, and seeing that brought back a lot of memories from our own childhoods. Overall, this was a really cool and unexpected experience. And of course, my wife found exactly what she was hoping for, a Linn County magnet to add to her collection. Highly worth the stop if you're anywhere near Brownsville.

Wonderful snuggle fest @ Iron Water Ranch in Albany, OR. -Lambentine Event- !!…read more We had an amazing time at this local Ranch as first time visitors! We signed up for their two day event online which consisted of hourly time slots to snuggle and bottle feed sweet baby lambs. We checked in during our designated time, received custom stickers, and given basic written instructions on how to hold and feed lambs. We then entered their big barn, where we were already assigned to Shepherd Brendan, who told us to pick an enclosed hay spot. He then retrieved a sweet lamb, dressed in a cute little shirt, who was ready to drink some warm milk, and be held by yours truly! The first baby girl, Widow, was the sweetest. She loved to be held and I bottle fed and snuggled with her forever. I asked Brendan if we could meet another lamb, and he then retrieved Jean, who was only a couple weeks old, if that! She was just as sweet, but a little bit more timid. They also had professionals onsite, spinning wool into yarn, products for sale, and staff on hand to answer any and all questions. We enjoyed our time here and plan on coming back for future events!! March MAAAdness is coming up!

They boxed them up and we headed back to WA. Once we got home the bottles that were placed in the box were not the same YEAR bottles that we tasted at the Pheasant Court Wine Tasting Bar.... Everyone of the bottle we opened were bad... They ripped us off. We would never go back there again and I should have written this review a long time ago. It was very disappointing. They ripped us off but in the end they lose.

It's become the art house venue, since it has only one screen. In the often inclement Pacific Northwest, movie theaters are common, especially in Corvallis.
