Our experience with John Griffin of Keller Williams was the worst to date. We only saw him ONCE (when we signed the contract) throughout the entire process. He showed us his "marketing plan" with all the ideas/plans he was going to use to help us sell the house. It was a beautiful presentation but he failed to execute as promised. He didn't follow through on a anything from the marketing plan he committed to do other than putting the house on the MLS. Even then, we had to call his team (because he wouldn't reply) to get a "for sale" sign for the house. Possibly the single-most basic step and we were the ones chasing them down to get the sign for our property. He also had no idea about the comparable properties in our area. We told him what the comps were b/c he had no idea "where to begin" - his words. We lived in a condo and there were several different models but because he didn't want to make an effort he didn't research the comps hardly at all. Furthermore, he gave access to a woman that wanted to simply SEE the house and not buy it that sounded drunk on the phone - a clear demonstration of the lack of interest in responsible handling of the properties his clients entrusted him to sell. John Griffin also never returned calls or emails. After leaving him multiple voicemails stating our concerns with his lack of availability, he finally returned ONE call and promised to be more visible. We suggested having biweekly calls to get updates on pricing and showings since so far, he had also failed to do that. He agreed and we scheduled our first call for the following week. The day came and John Griffin did not call us. We waited 30 minutes and decided to call him. What we got was a voicemail saying he was out of country on vacation with limited phone and email access. We never heard back from him and had to work with somebody else from his team. He didn't show up for closing. Clearly, John Griffin only cares about himself and not the customers he serves. If you want an experienced real estate agent that is there for his clients, employs responsible communication, and follows through on his commitments, we strongly advise that you not use John Griffin.

She also tried to get me to buy her owners new carpet for their whole place, mind you that was probably 15+ years old. I had even asked her for a walk through before I moved in and she gave me some sap story that the owners were the only ones who lived before me so any damage the owners would know about and which is why I wouldn't need a sheet. She tried to get me for all this pre-existing damage when I moved out. I was shocked! She comes off as this nice lady who is willing to do right by you. I left the unit in impeccable condition. Better than when I moved in. I paid over and beyond and she kept going around to these microscopic spots on the wall in a house that hasn't been updated since the 70's. She goes around saying that owners don't like to change the paint color, but then I realize it is because they KNOW it's dirty and they can get the tenant to pay for any 'damages'. To put this in perspective, my whole experience was her gas-lighting me. Please be careful if you want to move in here. Demand a walk through sheet signed by both of you after you move in. Take pictures. Note everything.
