This establishment has truly made me understand why people seek acupuncture as holistic treatment…read more Not only was the front desk engaging, but the Dr. was extremely knowledgeable as well. My boyfriend and I sought joint treatment; he tends to have pain in his lower back; and I, as a student, deal with high levels of stress which results in chronic migraines. The doctor had a remedy for that. He did an evaluation of our daily habits. From diet, menstruation, medical conditions, to family history - everything shy of our social security numbers lol. I could tell this man knew what he was doing! His plethora of medical degrees were only an inkling of this mans treasure trove of knowledge! So thorough!! He proceeded to insert very thin needles in my head, hands, and feet; a procedure which was surprisingly painless. Once the needles were in he placed incense on said needles and set them ablaze. He also burned herbal incense around me. Needless to say the room was overflowing with wonderful scents. He left the room, and so did I. Apparently, my soul astral projected. For the next hour of treatment I was gone. My boyfriend apparently was too. Afterwards, the way my boyfriend was smiling from his treatment, you would've thought he was a different person! I now believe in the power of holistic medicine and acupuncture, as I continue to go in Tampa and my sessions have helped me tremendously. I will be rescheduling a visit the next time I'm in Atlanta! Till then, I'll be counting down!!

It is very clear that he has practiced for well over 30 years and that was the biggest factor for me choosing him. I had read and heard from many people that Dr. Luo helped within the first couple of visits. My story was a little different... I had been suffering from Amenorrhea for well over 8 months before finding Dr. Luo. He worked diligently on my qi using Electroacupuncture combined with custom herbal remedies. We gave it some time and when things didn't show progress he would change his approach. I know when someone is truly passionate and committed to their practice and there is no doubt that Dr. Luo is a master. My cycle returned a couple of weeks ago! I will continue to see Dr. Luo weekly while my husband and I conceive and for regular maintenance thereafter. Linda (Dr. Luo's wife) feels like a dear friend at this point. She has so much wisdom and offers great advice. I am certain they will both play an important part in my families future for years to come. Thank you!

On my 3rd visit here, I was double booked for my dry needling treatment with Joseph. Instead of being honest and asking me to come back, they decided to treat me anyway. Unaware of the overbooking, I followed Joseph into a room where he worked on me for 5 minutes without sanitizing the area of treatment like he usually does. He turned the heat lamp to stay ON, told me he'd "be right back" and left the room. With needles in my back and a heat lamp inches from my body, I was left there for the rest of my ONE HOUR appointment. I could handle the physical pain, the intense heat and discomfort, but then the anxiety and panic set in. I felt held hostage with the needles all over my back and arms. I couldn't move at all without the needles hurting me. I couldn't even turn the heat lamp off or move it away. I was trapped. I didn't want to yell to disturb the other clients, so I reluctantly cleared my voice - rudely and loudly - to get someone's attention. Only then did Joseph come back. I immediately asked him to remove the needles (which had been in my body while I lie there alone for ONE HOUR). He took them out, and proceeded to do the routine end-of-session stuff. I had to ask him not to touch me anymore and to leave so I could they dressed and leave the room. Then, Joseph got annoyed with ME. Needless to say, I left Art of Healing in tears. I really trusted this place, but these are the types of interactions that make me NOT want to be a kind, understanding person. Art of Healing, you give me a reason to trust people less and lose hope in humanity. This was one of the most traumatic experiences I've had lately. I couldn't stop sobbing for well over an hour. I'm so incredibly disheartened.

I've been seeing Rosa for deep tissue massages and cupping therapy and it has been nothing short of miraculous. She knows her craft and it's so impressing - I'm the client who asks a million questions (in between sleep of course) and every time, Rosa answers knowledgeably and it's a full circle learning moment about my body and the suggested care. Rosa truly has healing hands, God bless her. I'll be back over and over - thank you AOH; can't wait to give some of your other services a try like acupuncture!
