Don't Trust Them! They sold me a voucher for a massage. Just like Last Year, they wouldn't honor it. It was always an excuse...The masseuse didn't come in today, the masseuse is out sick, we have no openings for 2 mos. Seriously, are they serious? I had the Same problem last year and thought maybe it was an isolated period and I'd give them a try again and Again my son was disappointed. To make it worse when my explained that this has happened before, the woman on the phone got very nasty and hung up. Why in the world would I want to spend any More Money there?? So I am out $68.60 And I see I am Not the Only one who has had this same experience judging from the other complaints. read more

We left in tears after a horrific experience! I've been planning a spa day for my mom and sisters since October. I already felt like I lost years off my life just trying to get it booked but after a dozen phone calls, emails and texts with the owner Linda I was assured everything was booked correctly for my mom's birthday surprise. My mom waited almost 2 hours and settled for 1/3 of the services booked just to get out of there, one sister waited 1 hour and shortened her service so our mom didn't have to wait anymore and I cancelled a service so my mom could get just one service done. Relieved to be finally getting out of there 3 hours later I was scammed by Helen at checkout. I booked a one hour facial for $70 and she tried to charge me $175 without ever telling me what was done during the appointment wasn't a facial but extra services she was expecting me to know would cost extra - and she knew I had never had a facial there before. She was incredibly deceitful and disrespectful and I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life. Dawn, Kelly and Peter were the only saving grace to the whole day. They were very kind and apologetic about our terrible experience. It's just a shame they work for a place with such poor management. read more

Got a gift card from my husband for this place. The staff was nice but the facility wasn't every good. I had a massage and the room was super bright, and I could hear the women in the other spa area laughing and talking so it wasn't even relaxing. There was no relaxing music playing either. The Massage therapist was nice and had strong hands but used odd techniques. The manicure I received was basic. My nails were cleaned and it last 10 minutes with no nail buffing. I will not recommend or go back. read more

I went in not knowing what I wanted but the staff was extremely helpful. They took great care of me and I have no complaints. It's always hard moving somewhere new and finding a good hair salon but Phoenix was great. As far as hair salons go, it's not too expensive either. read more

If I could give zero stars I definitely would. I went here the day of prom for hair and gel nails and a pedicure. My hair was great. It was the nail part that wasn't. First off I was told I wouldn't be able to get gel nails because they didn't know how to do it and the person that could do had already left that day. I stated when I called I wanted gel nails on my fingers and they gave me someone who didn't know how to do them. The woman doing my mani pedi wasn't even the nail tech there, she was the massage therapist and the actual nail tech had one of her friends and she was doing his nails. Overall terrible atmosphere, I was left in the chair during my pedicure by myself for over 10 minutes multiple times. Please never go here for a mani pedi. And if you need hair done make sure Stephen is the one doing it! read more

On multiple occasions appointments were cancelled without notice because hairdresser(s) left early, was running behind, or simply did not show up for work at all! The owner wanted to place blame on me however for the hairdresser not showing up, bc the hairdresser I spoke with personally did not put appointment in the salon system. Still not sure how that's my fault ‍ I waited 45 minutes from my appointment time just to be told they didn't think she was coming. Poor poor customer service! Very disappointed in owner as well as staff. read more

This place is not a place I would give business. My mom and I went to this place. There was a white women talking to a white male when we walked in we were not acknowledged at all. As we walked around looking throughout the store the worker said nothing to me and my mom she continued laughing and talking to the gentleman. So we were on our way out the door still no acknowledgment. I would never shop here. read more

Shannon Kennedy gives the best and most affordable hair cuts of anyone I've encountered in Alabama. She understands exactly what I describe and also offers her professional opinions for what would look best on me. I've never been disappointed! She is awesome! I also highly recommend her for keratin treatments. The system she uses is faster than most, more affordable and incredibly effective. I feel like a superhero defying Alabama humidity for about 4-5 months. Highly recommend!!!! read more

I am thoroughly unimpressed after my visit to Phoenix Salon. I needed a color for a couple months worth of regrowth. Stephani seemed nice and competent but by the end I had thick chunky yellow stripes when I'd asked for platinum blonde (which is the color of the rest of my hair). She didn't take the color all the way to the root and didn't shampoo my hair after applying toner. To make it worse, she cut my hair while I was sitting. I have long hair, I have to stand for cuts otherwise I get what I currently have, uneven hair. She kept insisting that they had bad lighting which is why my hair might look orange. So let me save you a lot of money, trouble, and regret. Don't bother visiting!! read more

I loved my experience at the phoenix salon and spa. My mother-in-law made appointments for my entire bridal party and me for the day of my wedding and let me tell you, I had the best day getting ready for my wedding! The ladies were amazing. I got my hair, makeup, a manicure, and pedicure done at the spa. There were six of us in the group, including my mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and my two bridesmaids. My husband loved my hair, makeup, and nails. Terri Soto was amazing! She did everyone's makeup for the wedding, so anyone looking for a makeup artist, I fully recommend Terri! I will definitely come back to the Phoenix, thank you ladies for all of your wonderful work! read more

Worst manicure ever. They filed my nails and began painting, right over my cuticles and some skin. Not worth the trip.

I got a massage and it was great! She really listened to what I wanted and needed. Definitely recommend this place.

I cannot think of the girl's name that did my massage.. she was caucasian, wore glasses, and fairly young. The massage felt great, however, I was unable to fully relax as she talked about christmas gifts and other things that I wanted to free my mind of while enjoying the massage. read more

This place has the worst customer service. I received a horrible manicure and pedicure a month ago. The person that did my treatments let me know that doing nails was not their forte. And that they preferred doing hair. But in order to do hair at this salon they had to agree to do nails. What establishment would force someone to perform services they didn't do well? I was promised I would receive a phone call from the owner and that has still not happened. I am not asking for a refund as I wish never to return. And quite frankly I don't care what the owner has to say to me. I also found the receptionist to be rude and short on both occasions I have been to this salon. It's apparent they are not working on building clientele and are just fine with their existing clients. read more
