UNWG Festival Bazaar…read more
Every year the UNWG (United Nations Women's Guild) is organising a huge bazaar right at the Austria Center Vienna. It is a charity event.
There is free admission and it's open to everybody.
It was like a huge fairy, so many colours, so many people from so many different countries.
Great tasty, colourful food from all over the World.
There were an international culture show, costumes of the world, a young talent show, art and craft stalls, national stalls and restaurant stalls on several floors and in several halls.
Egypt showed once more great construction skills, Jordan showed that Jordan has to offer more than just Petra, namely wellness. Thailand and the Philippines - hats off - although back home the catastrophe is not yet over, people showed what their countries can offer. Burkina Faso - the young lady was great, the best ambassador the country you can think of!!!
There was a great wooden boat that attracted especially the kids.
The children's corner was also very much appreciated.
UNWG also had a stall showing coins from all over the world.
At the basement there was the restaurant hall offering food from all over the world (last photo).
Although there was a crowd of people from all over the World, there was peace, people just enjoyed and shared their differences, specialities and countries.
But see for yourself!!!!
