The 1 star review from another customer is highly unfair. There was no lies or excuses! We also opted for the Christmas Minis shoot and can vouch for the delay with the courier company, as I actually work for the particular courier, that was delivering the prints! We experienced delays due to the busy Christmas period, which unfortunately reflected badly on both us, and the photographer, who actually went out of her way to deliver them asap. We will continue to use Cute as a Button for our photography needs, with confidence, and always recommend them!

There's something about black and white photographs, especially the way Patrick makes them, that makes you look at Ireland in a different way, there's something pure and timeless about them. From the moment I arrived I felt very comfortabe and we got to the shoot straight away. They clearly have been doing this a long time as they really know what they're doing - one directs the shoot while the other takes the pictures, a great team! The studio itself has adequite space and facilities and is great for both kids and adults (there is an abundance of toys and props!). It was warm and comfortable and fun. Although I bought a voucher to go there, and a further one for my brother and his little family, I would be quite happy to be paying full price for the shoot and pictures. What I will say is, throughout my time using groupon vouchers, or vouchers from any other company, I have never experienced such a level of disdain and disinterest. Despite the fact that they had already had to extend the expiring date as they had been unable to accommodate the number of vouchers sold, and despite admitting they had supplied incorrect details to groupon for customers to reach them at, the declined to accept any responsibility. Instead they decided that the blame lay with my friend (they recipient of this gift) for not guessing the details were incorrect and searching elsewhere. I was also highly disappointed that despite the fact they were re-running the deal, they showed no interest in simply carrying the voucher over. Clearly this company was in it for a quick buck, and if you have an easy experience, I'm glad, however should any issues arrive, don't expect a very satisfying level of care or respect. I will be very careful before purchasing another voucher of this nature again.

Elaine is a very special person. From the moment we met her we felt comfortable, like she's an old…read morefriend. Her energy is contagious and I was excited to see her again on the wedding day. She arrived with no fuss and got to work quietly with all the 'morning of' chaos going on. She is a fountain of knowledge on all things wedding and helped with the prep just as much as my hair & makeup girls. She helped us plan out the timings of the day realistically and we stuck almost exactly to this but never felt under time pressure. While we were away from guests having photos done, it didn't feel like long and she made it fun and relaxed. Sam & I are not posers and felt very nervous about having our photos taken all day, but Elaine had us an ease immediately so our photos are very natural. She didn't repeat poses or have us standing like statues for a hundred photos, we whizzed through each one. I always get annoyed at friends' weddings when the photographer fusses and gets in the way of everything, especially during the ceremony but honestly, I hardly noticed Elaine at all! After dinner, she took advantage of a beautiful sunset and whisked us outside for 5 mins. It was a lovely moment for the 2 of us to have a break away from guests and be together in peace. During a (long) gap between dinner and band setup, Elaine produced sparklers for something fun and a fab photo op with our guests. Elaine felt like such a friend by the end of the night and so many people have complimented her since, even my sister wants her for her wedding. And now we have received, with no delay, 600+ photos we love and a photo montage with music that tells the story of our incredible day. I am so happy with Elaine's work - what a talent! She was such a fun addition to our wedding, I couldn't imagine it without her. Thanks Elaine xx
