It is very hard to believe that someone with an established face book page has very poor customer service. I paid $300 in cash the day she came to take pictures. She showed up 20 minutes late but ended up staying very long to take photos for the photo session we had hoped for. She had asked for 3 week time stating that the edits we are requesting will take more time. We have given her enough time. And at the end of week 3, upon asking repeatedly, she shared another link with the unedited photos that we could download only by paying some extra $$$$ (surprise surprise). After that she stopped responding to our phone calls and text messages. Giving her a benefit of doubt, it could be that she is super busy with other stuff but doesn't mean she cannot respond via text. Two months after hiring her for our photo needs, we have absolutely no response regarding the links so far from her. Upon calling her and asking her why she sent another website link that is showing another couple of hundred $$$ to purchase, she stated that we will get a separate google drive link with both edited and unedited photos. We never received either of those links. This is very unprofessional. In short, I would think twice before hiring Janet Skeem for any of their personal or professional photo needs. She sent all my calls to voicemail and didn't care to at least respond via a single text stating when exactly I will get my pictures. I am still waiting on my photos as I write this review. I have nothing to gain by writing this, except as a warning to anyone else who may be thinking of hiring her. The time frame at which those photos was taken is not going to come back no matter how much money we spend. I'm deeply disappointed with the service we received hope others read this in case they're looking to hire her for important shoots.

I have heard nothing but good reviews about them, including from my venue .I was impressed with how organized and well plan ahead they seem to be. I had a consultation with both the Dj and The wedding coordinator. I gave the Dj quite a few must play songs. I also had a very specific request for the bride and groom Entrance into the reception. It is something I've always wanted to do. I was not sure if we were going to be able to have mariachis. Which the mariachis Would be a part of the entrance if we had them . If not, I had a Plan B and c , since this was really important that it went right. I was very pleased. Everything seemed to be in order. Everyone seemed excited.. I was definitely looking for the magic touch and for that excitement and momentum to be brought to the wedding. We started to hit some bumps in the planning With certain unexpected life occurrences That were unforeseen. We had to push our date out. Which they charged a 250 fee. Not even our venue did that due to the circumstances But I understand. Tragically, I had a death in my immediate family. Unfortunately, we had to push back again. Vega did reschedule with another 250 fee. Once again, they were the only vendor that did that but I get it. It was in the contract.so I Ended up using them for Dj service with the Lighting package and the day of coordinating service. They sent me a video of their mariachi's, which seemed very Entertaining And vivacious. So I made sure to make that happen at the last Moment. Which I did, let the Dj know. The night of the wedding, I began to come down being very ill. Covid was floating around, quite a few of my guest left with COVID. I text the coordinator to let her know I was starting to get sick, but I was going to take every medicine I had in my Cabinet. She was very sweet and assuring, which is what I needed. I ended up staying up till 4:30 AM and woke up at eight am . One blessing of the day as I was able to hold off being sick until a Day later. However, the medication definitely made me swell up . Needless to say the day did not go smooth in any shape way or form . but we made it through the wedding. It was now time for the reception.. I'm very sad to say I was completely let down with Vega Dj service. The Mariachis were OK definitely not lively. Definitely not worth $800 for hour . Definitely not very friendly. And I'm very sad to say our Dj flopped. He seemed like he was just there to collect a check, and that was it. There was no uplifting momentum.. Definitely missed more then a few songs that I had on my List. The songs he played did not get anyone out on the dance floor. For the most part for a DJ, he was very quiet. My biggest disappointment was after the careful planning of the bride and groom entrance. He completely did not follow through with that.. That was something that was very important to me and that is a moment I can never get back. And all I could do was smile and hide my disappointment when I walked into the Reception. The coordinator I initially felt bad for. it was a hectic day. I will definitely take accountability and own. The mistakes I made some of it could not be helped. Like me getting sick. Unfortunately, There was a lot of confusion and a lot of misunderstanding with some of the other vendors. Which I was a bit surprised since I was told the coordinator did contact all of them and verify everything and had all the details mapped out. However, She definitely sold me at the bridal show that she can handle any unexpected occurrences. I was going to TEXT her the next day and tell her thank you and how much I appreciate her service. However, one of my bridesmaids informed me that she had a lot to say about me and how poorly I handled the wedding and made it very stressful for her. The coordinator was $1500 just for the day. As the bride, I really should have had little to no stress . But to say that to my own bridesmaid was very disrespectful. very unprofessional . It made me wish I have not used the service at all. I've had other vendors who have called afterwards and asked how I felt about the service and made sure I was happy And if there was anything else they could do for me. Which to me was fantastic and Truly much appreciated. It definitely made me feel like they appreciated my business and wanted my business still. Which they will absolutely get. I have never heard from Vega I was very surprised to have such a negative experience with them . It actually still kind of surprises me to this day.. I wanted to wait to leave my review until after I had some time to definitely calm down and not even think about a wedding for a bit . We decided we will do a Vow Renewal As kind of a redo and definitely learning from our mistakes. And unfortunately, using the Vega DJs for any service is another Mistake I will not repeat.

Their equipment was state of the art, the props were actually unique and high-quality (nothing cheesy like some props can be), and they even sanitized each prop after use before placing them back on the table. Wow! At the end of the night, one of the photo booth attendants handed me a photo album with all of my guests photos and notes, and gave me the biggest hug saying "Congratulations!". Could not have asked for a better team to work with! Highly recommend this company for your next event!
