I was in need of a professional head-shot for resume purposes, LinkedIn account, applications, etc…read more I researched online various businesses around the San Antonio area and even went to a few places in person to take a look at the studio and talk to personnel. I reached out to Richard's Photography via phone and spoke with Patty. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions, so I decided to go ahead ahead and schedule a photo-shoot for the following week. Patty text messaged a reminder two days before the actual photo-shoot, and again two hours prior to the scheduled time. I arrived a little early to their home studio and Richard/Patty greeted me. The photo room is fairly plain and simple, nothing grandeur about the setup. Don't let the straightforward setup fool you though, Richard knows his stuff. Each time he took a photo, he guided me to slightly change my stance and pose. He took about 33 photos and went straight to his computer office to upload them. Each photo came out Perfect. The whole photo-shoot and upload/selection process was about 20 minutes. Richard is able to re-touch a photo if necessary and emails you them right after the photo-shoot. They seem like a genuine, sincere couple and were very hospitable. No issues whatsoever with the experience and Richard's Photography. I would definitely come back if I'm in the San Antonio area again and needed photography services.

We were concerned because they are usually very expensive for nothing super special. Then my wife happened upon Chelsea Lietz's Photography. Not only were the prices very reasonable, but her photos were simply gorgeous. We ended up getting the "Belly to Baby" package which was two photography sessions one a short 45 minute Maternity session, and the second a 3 hourish newborn photography session. The maternity session blew our minds away, we were so pleased with how laid back she was, how professional she seemed, and most importantly how organized, and timely she was. She asked us if there was anythign we wanted and we mentioned our tattoos, and she delivered with what is one of my favourite photos of me and my wife. We were super pleased with the maternity session, and everyone in our family and freidns on facebook loved the photos. We thought it couldn't get better than this. WE WERE WRONG!! Chelsea has a plague on the wall of her studio that says "Baby Whisperer" this is not an exagerration. She handled our 1 week old newborn so well that we immediately trusted her with our baby so much that my wife and I both fell asleep due to the comfortable environment, and the absolute trust we had in Chelsea. Then the Photos came.... They were simply stunning! She focused on the baby like she should, but still managed to get a couple of pictures with my wife and I with the baby. They were everything and more that we wanted. For the price that we paid I doubt we could find someone with more bang for the buck. My daughters and I talked at length today about how much better pictures turn out when you feel comfortable with the photographer taking them. Young ladies can be difficult and insecure. Both of my daughters were glowing and felt extremely confident and pretty. We really loved that they gave compliments often and were constantly giving us great feedback and adjustments. The experience was easy, fun, and very relaxed. My favorite part was Alaena asking really touching and insightful questions and just interacting with my daughters sharing their answers with myself, and them. It kept as smiling but most importantly it really created a lasting memory of that day. We also were able to share candid photos captured previously with them and were thrilled to be able to recreate them. From top to bottom the experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend them (and already have) to family and friends.

What a way to go out, during a pandemic! Me and one of the other moms planned to do a drive by retirement parade! While planning everything I thought it would be nice to get a professional photographer involved! The big day came and they exceeded any expectations I had! We weren't driving fast but I cant imagine how hard it is to capture all the action photos! Little did we know this would be one of the worst decisions we could have ever made. In the contract they were supposed to have given us portraits that we never received. As if that wasn't enough, even after asking countless times for our video they never gave it to us. Despite us asking numerous times it took not only months, but over a year for them to let us know that they lost all of our wedding footage. This was devastating to us as people that were not only in those videos but who also left video messages have since passed away. We have no video of our very special day. I can't quantify the amount of stress and devastation this has caused. If you are searching for a photographer/videographer for you special day, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you want to ensure you will have your memories properly captured and your contract honored to its fullest. He was deceptive regarding his services and professionalism and in the end it affected so many things for us.
