I'm bad at things like that, but we knew we wanted our photos to showcase the desert because my husband and I met and fell in love here in Tucson. She also gave us some guidance for what outfits to wear, and what to expect on the day of the photos. The day we took the photos, Lacey took us to the most perfect spot with lots of grass, cactus, and beautiful views of the mountains... It fit our request for incorporating the desert perfectly! I was really nervous because I'm not exactly a model, but Lacey was so helpful with poses, and her directions were easy to follow and made for some gorgeous photos. It was amazing how efficient she was! The time flew by, and we had a great time with lots of laughs. Lacey has a way of making people feel very comfortable, even when a camera is pointing at them! A couple of weeks later, Lacey had us come into the studio to view our pictures. She made a slide show (set to music!) of all of our photos. They were so. beautiful. We had a hard time choosing our favorites! She gave us lots of time to look at the photos and choose our favorites. Then she worked some kind of magic on them, because when we got our order a couple of weeks after that, they were even more gorgeous than when we picked them out earlier. I was on the fence because I thought the samples of their work was a little too artsy for my taste. My husband liked them right away because of that artistic quality. I am VERY happy with our decision to hire them! John and Lisa were the utmost professionals from beginning to end. They showed a genuine interest in shooting our wedding and had ideas for shots that we hadn't considered. Since we had a daytime wedding and reception, I was worried about that the lighting at both venues would be too harsh. I called John on short notice about this concern about a month before the wedding and he willingly dropped everything to go out the venue and check it out. He took a few photos to alleviate my concern. He went out again a couple of days before the wedding at the time the ceremony took place. They were punctual and professionally dressed on our wedding day. They were mindful of our tight timeline which I really appreciated. We were married in a very small, rustic chapel with very little room to move around. Lisa was crouched in a corner near the altar and captured some amazing shots during the ceremony. I loved the candid photos they took at both venues. Their turnaround time to produce the photos was incredibly fast - done in less than a week!! We were given 4 full discs of photos, 2 in a beautiful custom case. Outstanding quality. My only complaint was the lack of close up formal photos.
