I explicitly talked about the image I wanted to portray, During the shooting session, he told me to squinch my eyes to make my smile look genuine. I actually have a genuine smile, but I complied. I also showed him an image that was taken 5 years ago that I liked. At the end of the session, he told me that he wanted me to see how he finished a headshot to give it a professional edge. He picked an image from the session. It was not the image I chose. When he emailed the image three weeks later, I told him that I did not approve of the touchup. I instructed that when he touched up the chosen image to leave my eyebrows alone. His touchup showed a highly arched brow that did not extend to the outer brow bone. The eyes were squinched, making them appear irritated and the makeup was heavy. I didn't hear from Kuwan for a couple of months after he told me that my brows weren't even. When I finally contacted him again, it took a couple of weeks more for him to get back in touch. The first image he sent back was the same one that I had not chosen and had issues with. I contacted him by phone and asked if he even knew which image I had chosen. He told me how to go back to the website and choose the image. A week later he sent an untouched head shot with red eyes. He said he only did a minimal job because I had complained about the heavy makeup. This was not the professional job I was expecting for $150. I will call American Express to get my fee returned. I have the photos to prove this sham of a professional photographer.

Taking the pictures was so easy. I received feedback on where to look and how to move from Ania and the woman working with her that I am blanking on her name. They would stop after a few pictures to show me how they looked so I had a sneak peek. Ania asked a lot of questions about what I wanted when it came to lighting, outfits, poses, etc. I never felt pressured to do anything cheesy or anything that I didn't like. My boyfriend was running late, so I was worried we wouldn't get a ton of pictures with him, but Ania was so patient. He delivered pleasant images that captured our happy family in a great springtime setting. The photo shoot was fun and we all felt good throughout the shoot.
