Also, the customer service was better than what I could ask from a business. We got stuck in the snow and were going to be late for our appointment by at least two hours. Jerry rearranged his schedule so that we could still have our pictures taken, since this was the only day and time the whole family could make it. Once we finally made it to the location, all the children were cranky and unwilling to listen to parents. Jerry was funny and personable and somehow had the ability to make them all smile so that our pictures turned out great. I respect quality work, and expect to pay for it but the pictures were just ok. They required a lot of editing and face swapping to be acceptable. I felt like he didn't pay attention to small but important details like head position and hand and feet placement when actually doing the shoot. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There's plenty of competition out there and you could get full digital rights to all your edited photos for a fraction of the price.

Payment: To be honest, I love that she had a payment system so that it auto-deducted over 8-10 months. It's so nice to not have the traditional huge lump sum payment when all the other vendors are also asking for their final payments. After our venue, Michaela and Josh (Moose Studio) were the first vendors we booked. I was in Shanghai at the time when I interviewed them, so I stayed up until midnight and they woke up early at 6am to accommodate my schedule. Huge kudos and thanks to them for being so accommodating for just a client meet and greet. We talked for an hour and it went by so quickly, and honestly after the meeting, I just knew that they were going to be our photographers. Just goes to show, I should always trust my gut. In the package that we chose, we got free engagement photos and I highly recommend getting your engagement photos done with your wedding photographer if you can! If you don't like their photos, or just don't vibe, there will still be time to change course. Thankfully, we didn't need that at all. Michaela made us feel so at ease; we have never taken professional photos before and we definitely needed to be put at ease. We were laughing throughout the whole day and truly had fun with it! Michaela sent out a cute little gift with a magazine she printed herself (with gorgeous photos and chock full of tips!) as well as some champagne gummies. The magazine included tips for what to wear during the engagement shoot which I relied on heavily the few weeks before our shoot. Our photos turned out amazing. We even used two of them for our guestbooks at the wedding (we made them into puzzles that we framed and will display proudly wherever we live!) We have gotten so many compliments on them over the years. Years? Yes, you read that right. OG Covid bride here! We were supposed to get married April 2020 but alas, the world had other plans. Michaela and Josh were so incredibly supportive throughout this whole process and made sure they were available for every postponed date. Finally, two postponements later, we JUST had our wedding.
