My daughter was on the exam table and ended up fainting. It was so fast there wasn't even time to catch her. Off the exam table she went, right into the floor. Dr. Lane jumped into action, evaluated her and then held her on the floor until she knew she was okay. I'm confident in her judgement and so happy we found her. Daughter is okay and we will keep making the drive to Estero to see her!

Their facility is spotless, organized, and beautifully designed. Most importantly, the reception staff, the nurse and the doctor were all fantastic! Everyone was very kind and professional and so tender with my daughter. Additionally, they offer great convenience having common meds available for purchase at the office. If I lived in the area, I would be seeing them permanently for pediatric care for my children no questions asked but, in the meantime, I am SO glad I've found a great practice for my kids when we visit the area. This office bullied our daughters specialist and refused to let us contact Dr Otero. Today I received a termination letter in the mail and have not received my child's physical forms. Additionally the Nurse gave my child 7 vaccines when we requested 3 at a time. When we asked when we could speak to Dr Otero we were advised by the manager they didn't know when he would be back and we couldn't request to see him. In three weeks they have only been able to schedule their assessments for speech therapy. They were to have two therapy days a week. We needed them to be scheduled on the same day, living out of town, hoping to travel two days instead of four separate days. One did get scheduled for two months, no room for the other child. Before child one could even get her first therapy treatment, they were cancelled. Then when the second child received her first appointment dates, they also were cancelled within a week. To this day they have not had any of their therapy's due to the office scheduling. They do not live in Fort Myers and have to schedule with a care taker to help coordinate these visits. It's hard enough dealing with twin two year old autistic girls, but to not be able to get their care, sucks!! Where do we go? We thought we were in an outstanding facility that helps.

My 4 children have been going to this office since they were born. They have never missed a year…read morewhere they had their yearly physical. My youngest daughter who is in 7th grade needed her shot record for the upcoming school year. Her shots were completed in 2024. She has yet to have her yearly phy in 2025 due to lapse in health insurance. When I requested the shot record they told me they could NOT give it to me due to her not yet having a phy in 2025. I corrected them with HIPPA law and they emailed the shot records after days of going back and forth. Fast forward to a month later I get a TEXT from the office asking if my children are still patients because they have not been in for their phy yet. My oldest child aged out and is in USAF so I just have the 3 that are still patients I tell them. Thank the lord above they are healthy kids and we are only in office once a yr for phy. They text me back telling me the parents need to stay compliant and that this years phy have been missed. I explained that the year is not over. It's been 3 months since they were supposed to have a scheduled appt. Moneys tight, still no insurance, don't qualify for Medicaid and all 3 are done with immunizations and are currently healthy. That I will schedule when I can. The audacity of this place! I have NEVER gotten a text from a doc basically threatening to mark my children's files as transferred because I am three months past scheduling a yearly physical. This place is a JOKE and they are money hungry!

We have been patients at this pediatric clinic for some time, but our most recent experiences have…read morebeen extremely disappointing and concerning. During our last set of visits with Jennifer Hartman, we were seen in the office four separate times. At one of those visits, she told us she needed to get something and would be right back -- but she never returned. A nurse eventually came in and discharged us instead, leaving our questions unanswered. We later returned for a follow-up, and at that visit our concerns were brushed off and not taken seriously. That is what ultimately led us to seek a second opinion elsewhere. After scheduling that second-opinion appointment, I received a call from the clinic's billing department stating that our currently active insurance was denying all claims. This did not make sense, as our insurance was active and valid. When I tried to ask reasonable questions to understand what was happening, I was spoken to in a reprimanding and dismissive manner by the office staff. The interaction was rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this was not the first billing issue we have had here. During a previous visit, I informed the office that we had dual insurance. I was yelled at by the front desk and told I should have notified them weeks in advance -- even though the secondary insurance had only started a few weeks earlier. On multiple occasions, I have felt that I was spoken to as if I were a child rather than an adult parent advocating for my child's care. Between the lack of communication from the provider, concerns being dismissed, and repeated negative and disrespectful interactions with billing and front desk staff, this office has caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time for our family. I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both patient communication and how families are treated.

To me that is just PLAIN DANGEROUS! Sounds like it's about the money. Doctors get a large amount of money from insurance when a child turns 2 if FULLY Vaccinated. So I would stay far away from this place. If this happened to my friend, can you even imagine how many more.....

I never feel rushed or pressured into decisions, and she makes sure I have all the information I need. She's also fantastic about referrals and getting them handled quickly. The office staff is equally amazing--medication requests, doctor's notes, and even last-minute or emergency appointments are handled quickly and efficiently. I can almost always get my daughter seen the same day or within a day or two of calling, which is rare these days. The follow-up care is another standout. They always call to check in after visits, which makes me feel like they truly care about my daughter's well-being. Honestly, I wish my own doctor's office ran this smoothly. They've been a dream to work with, and I feel very lucky to have found them.
