This is a convenient place to go for non-emergency medical care, exams, lab-work, vaccinations, etc. If needed, the Doc can hospitalize you at "Big Lourdes" over on Ambassador Caffery Pkwy. This is a lot better than the "Minor E.D.'s" or Doc-in-a-Box places. As an ex-Family Doc myself, I didn't know what to expect; but was so pleased that I stayed for all my routine medical care. I had my right shoulder done about 8 years ago and now it's time for the left. Ugh. The good news is that the people here are friendly, helpful and caring and all of the doctors I have had are top notch at their profession. They make sure you know what to expect from the time you go to pre-op to recovery, which makes the stress level drop down a notch or two. As with anything healing takes time but he actually pieced my tattoo back so that the scar separating it is barely noticable. How many surgeons really care about that. I wanted an exact quote up front what I would be charged; they said they couldn't give me one. I kept getting bills after my visits even though I payed my copay for weird things that didn't make since and they couldn't explain properly. Bottom line- I asked to know upfront exactly what I would be changed and for them to call my health insurencd to find out. Apparently they never did, and didn't give me the an estimate which I thought was weird. Other chiropractor places I've been have always given me an upfront amount which they charge so that I know what to expect. After being on the phone with them and my health insurance for hours they told me the extra changes were from my first visit and were assessment charges I told them I never got X-rays and didn't have an assesment I just got aligned. They told me they still changed me because he asked about my history and basically wrote a bunch down. So I got changed an extra $38 for him writing sh*t down on a piece of paper. I won't be going back nor will I ever be recommending them to anyone. They were rude, and even through all that would not take any of the extra changes back.
